lols burn-in are not meant to be abused... force burn-in because of greed and wants things to go fast will not bring good results.

some good stuffs needs patience... burn-in is one of them. never force burn-in by abusing 24h nonstop burn, you'll overwork the drivers causing not so pretty sounding headphones compared to properly burnt-in headphones under given same time

i dont know about other headphones, but mine has been burned in continuously for hundreds of hours and they still give the same sound as others tongue.gif... tho i do take some precaution and keep my fan turned on just so the ambient temperature doesn't "damage" the drivers, and the can is always at listening volume which is 35% in foobar tongue.gif well, my own opinion tongue.gif

the purpose of burning in is so that the diaphragm gets to the point it should be, like breaking in new shoes lidet~

get it smile.gif so i'll just burn in slowly and naturally...btw how about amplifier? i saw many people in Jaben trying so many types of amplifier, out of curious i asked the staff to take an amplifier (price rm200) for me to try but i can't feel much different as the amplifier is more to clarify and smoothens the music, and since the ES7 is already crystal clear enough for me i just hear some slight different in the background music..

is there any amplifier that can tighten the bass? it will be great for my ES7 tongue.gif

Maybe you will need some times before you can really hear the difference with amping on your headphone because maybe you haven't really gotten used to the headphone.
IMO, you should stick with your headphone for awhile before getting an amp. And at the same time, read up on various brands and models of amps. And audition them at Jaben from time to time. thumbup.gif

i purposely went to jaben to test out the difference

for ms2i, i find minor differences, such as sibilance being less harsh on a burned in unit

ES7 is supra-aural headphones, which mean they wont block noise from outside as much as circumaural headphones do.
