Well, as for me I don't purposely burn-in my headphone, I just let them burn-in while I'm listening.
Gratz on the purchase bro. thumbup.gif

Yup, my pro700 mk2's bass was also quite loose before burn-in. But after burn-in, fwuaaah~ Tight and punchy yo. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(yuan415 @ Nov 12 2011, 11:39 PM)
get it smile.gif so i'll just burn in slowly and naturally...btw how about amplifier? i saw many people in Jaben trying so many types of amplifier, out of curious i asked the staff to take an amplifier (price rm200) for me to try but i can't feel much different as the amplifier is more to clarify and smoothens the music, and since the ES7 is already crystal clear enough for me i just hear some slight different in the background music..

is there any amplifier that can tighten the bass? it will be great for my ES7 tongue.gif

Maybe you will need some times before you can really hear the difference with amping on your headphone because maybe you haven't really gotten used to the headphone.
IMO, you should stick with your headphone for awhile before getting an amp. And at the same time, read up on various brands and models of amps. And audition them at Jaben from time to time. thumbup.gif

Bro yuan415, take it slowly la, one step at a time. U don't have to rush in getting the aftermarket/DIY cables. Just listen to ur headphone for quite sometime for now, then only upgrade new cable when u feel like there's really a necessity, eg. when u feel like there's something lacking with the SQ.

PS: The poison has been spilled quite alot in this thread. biggrin.gif
