QUOTE(yuan415 @ Nov 12 2011, 12:59 AM) Guys, remember i have posted about the questions on whether to get Monster Beats or Audio Technica? I just went to Jaben today and tried few models of headphone and finally able to judge myself which is more suitable for me...honestly, Monster Beats really really dissapoint me to the max...the first headphone i tried was Beats Studio which is rm1700..after that every headphone i test were better than the Beats...i tried Audio technica, AKG, Klipsch, Denon, n few others..finally i came to decide between audio technica and klipsch, audio technica has outstanding clarity while klipsch has awesome bass...but ES7 has better outlook...so im really happy with this new toy now , and the sales person in Jaben is very friendly and provide good services, i highly recommend those who going to get their headphone have a visit at Jaben...anyway, a question to ask, how to burn for 200 hours as the peole there recommend me? well it takes hands on approach to know that we're not lying you can burn in by running pure sine wave, pink noise, or just playing your favorite music whenever you are not using it

QUOTE(yuan415 @ Nov 12 2011, 01:34 AM) Alright, so i just let it run for hours then have to stop it awhile? If i burn while i sleeping it will be ok? Around 8 hours.. i burned my headphone that way... non stop playing music of course, there's like few seconds of pause after each song however, i purposely give it a few hours rest every 100 hours or so

QUOTE(yuan415 @ Nov 12 2011, 03:38 AM) Wow, im new into this so feel abit heart pain letting it burn for few days long...haha...have to on max volume or just normal? well you can leave it running at normal listening volume, or SLIGHTLY higher, but dont put max since you might damage the driver doing so

QUOTE(nordingh @ Nov 12 2011, 06:37 AM) Well... i agree with you, Beats is a 'Monster'.. not everyone like 'Monster'... too much 'Monster' bass.. good for Hip hop though... Congrats on ES7... even myself still cannot afford this one but will always in my wishlist. Jaben is the best... their bear is the symbol for friendly and hospitality services. But not hug-able sorry to say but jaben penang's bear has been molested by me and my friends, and for resisting molestation, he was beaten up as well

i dont know about other headphones, but mine has been burned in continuously for hundreds of hours and they still give the same sound as others ... tho i do take some precaution and keep my fan turned on just so the ambient temperature doesn't "damage" the drivers, and the can is always at listening volume which is 35% in foobar well, my own opinion the purpose of burning in is so that the diaphragm gets to the point it should be, like breaking in new shoes lidet~

QUOTE(spacelion @ Nov 13 2011, 05:09 AM) maybe it's like me, I didnt burn in, just listen, after 500 hours, i forgot what the original sound was like >.< i purposely went to jaben to test out the difference for ms2i, i find minor differences, such as sibilance being less harsh on a burned in unit
