Saw that KUL-KIX ticket was reduced by RM50 just now!!! Weird, wonder if it's because of the friday happy hr promo but it was stated in the promo page also.

Yay, going to Osaka end of October. Hope the weather is pleasant then!

I have pre-booked 20 kg previously and wanted to add another 10 kg. From the drop down menu, i selected 30kg (add 10 kg) and the listed price is RM30 extra.  At the confirmation and payment page, however, the shown price is RM35! Anyone aware and face this before?
*
Sorry, i never prebook and then add more luggage weight. MAybe u need to go to askairasia n ask their cust. service.

Was informed through live chat that the drop down menu is not the actual one. the system will re-calculate and present the final amppunt at the confirmation page  doh.gif

And then i found out that the departure time is changed from 10 am to 10.20 am without any notification  blink.gif
*
Errr, didn't know got such thing. Maybe u need to go to their FB page to complain.

That day i complain why at the page where we need to select the menu, i selected flight to go to japan and yet no international food option. Straight I go to their FB page to complain publicly. About a few days later, suddenly got 'japanese meal', 'korean meal' pulak. I think their IT ppl is a bit ding dong one.

For the departure time problem, sometimes they tend to inform only a week or 2 before ur flight (that was my case when they last change their flight 2hrs later to Tokyo).

Hi,

I have encountered some issues in Air Asia website. I wanna manage my booking but Air Asia could not log me into the website. What should I do now?

Is your ID & password correct? If it's still wrong, you need to call their customer service to rectify this problem.

BTW, AA, esp AAX came out wth new rules last week.. They told most of the stores in LCCT not to sell any cheap mineral waters to passengers esp those boarding AAX. They will check passengers esp on AAX just b4 you enter the waiting for boarding area. Even all Duty free liqour purchased need to be put aside in the dedicated table b4 entering the waiting room. damn..
*
Aiyo...... like that have to purchase their super expensive water already sigh. I'm planning to pre-book 2 meals (with drinks) for my trip to Osaka.

Their small ~ 300ml mineral water = RM3. LCCT stores, 500ML ~ RM1.50-RM2.50.

but they dunwan to sell if they ask you whether you are bringing in..according to them, they kena sounded kaw-kaw by AAX last week. Anyway, I saw few also managed to smuggler in by hiding deep inside their carry-on bags.. The waiting area guard just randomly check.. Some lucky guy.. I should buy & tell them drinking now and hide inside my carry-on damnit..
*
Oh good info.

I doubt also they can check so many ppl boarding (need to walk so far to airplane some more). Good idea to hide until the most inside of your bag also.

Will try this next round and see what happens lol.

QUOTE(WintersuN @ Jun 14 2012, 03:15 PM)
So the story is that company book a flight for me overseas. I use air asia. Then now i wanna change the fly date to earlier go holiday first. It will incur charges if i change flight date. Its ok I can pay for the extra charges. Then when i do online, during the change date step, it say the total charges is rm300+ !! More expensive than i book earlier.. I thought extra charges only around rm100 dat also alot liao

So i already paid earlier for the booking rm 285 not need pay rm 300+ again? That will be crazy..

Please advice those who did before

Also i wanna pay wif own credit kad dun let kompany know.. Please advice
*
Well, changing fee is always expensive.

I believe that you are not an experienced traveller hence thinking that this price is expensive. Actually for a full commercial airline also charge the same way.

Why didn't you tell ur co. that you want to go earlier rather than actual date? YOu can tell them that you will pay the difference for flight price mah.

So takut for what? If you go earlier and it's a weekend or you actually take AL, nothing wrong what.

Yes I will pay the difference of the price. But im just curious why it charge so expensive hmm.gif and also since is already paid use my boss credit kad i tot i change then use my own to pay

Dunno why had any affect on the kad if i change.. later alot problem come out la
*
If you think RM100 is expensive, Qatar Airways charge RM150 for changing fee if not mistaken (ppl pls correct me if i'm wrong). Even more expensive, plus if the price of the ticket (for the other date) is more expensive then charge some more.

Well it's their T&C, you can't really complain right? If you don't mind, can go complain at their FB page.

Travellers should already expect such fees for changing the dates of their departure & return. Complaining doesn't work.

That's why, triple confirm the dates only make the booking. If cannot confirm, then dun book. If other things come up that has to be on your travel date, then it's not the airline's fault. It's your own fault.

hey peeps, just wanna double check. for international flights, i have to be at the airport 2 hours before departure right?

Yes. Better still 3hrs before if u never check in online. LAter the queue will be too long and then have to spend the time to wait in line. Sometimes it may take 30 mins to check in....

I changed my QA ticket free on first change before 48 hours. 6 times I did this consecutively at its still free for the last 3 years. My habit to extend my leave vacation outside permitted by approved company leave  brows.gif

Your ticket must have been not a promo tickets as it is totally not permissable to change for free, regardless of airlines.

In Australia, check-in with budget-Airlines such as JETSTAR can easily take 1 hr or more.... the queue in Melbourne two years ago was more than 100 Meters or so  rclxms.gif

Yup, tell me about it!

I'm always at the airport at least 2.5hrs before departing. It's such a hassle to have to rush through everything just to catch a flight. Really don't understand on what's the big deal in being at the airport earlier for those last minute travellers!

QUOTE(lingling @ Jul 28 2012, 11:31 AM)
would like to ask about the airasia X on board meal from KUL - MEL.
if it is a mid-night flight (2220-0820), can I still order any on board meal such as nasi lemak ? ... what time they will distribute the meal... ?
anyone has experience boarding mid-night flight, what is the situation like ? all lights switch off until landing ? all people sleeping ?
thanks
*
Midnight flights for any airline, basically has the same routine.

They usually will serve 'dinner' an hr after the plane is on the air, after that dim lightings bla bla bla and the next meal will be served usually 2-3 hrs before they land.

Not sure if there are 2 meals for the MEL flight or not but i presume there is.

I think it would be best for you to preorder your meal because alot of the times AA's flight ALWAYS ALWAYS run out of hot food. Usually snacks or those maggi cups will still be available.

Try their international meal. It's usually really good, but then again, I feel that their food is edible la. biggrin.gif

However, if you know you not going to board it (and not yet check in), better ask for refund on airport tax. Not sure if the flight ticket is refundable, depending on the promo. Also there is admin charge for the refund.
*
I actually ask a refund for my cancelled SG trip, the airport tax was maybe RM40 in total or so, until now still no respond!! Maybe i should chat with them on ask air asia.... hehe.
