Yes for sure u can do this.. From my past experience of 2 last minutes cancellation and kenot redeem back those purchases except airport tax, better just buy the fare & the tax.. bcos if last minute can;t go, you can just forfeit just the fare & fuel surcharge and claim back the airport tax. smile.gif If you add baggages, food, insurance & etc...all burnt mannn
QUOTE(ronnie @ Feb 15 2012, 08:54 AM)
So I can add baggage, food and pick seat later ?
Would it be the same price if I book now or later ?

QUOTE(ronnie @ Feb 15 2012, 10:13 AM)
If I pay for the baggage and pick a seat later, do I still pay for the Credit Card Convenience fee again ?

That's is the AA trap to force ppl buying seats, insurance & etc.. If not careful (Which I also kena previously) You are buying nonsense there..Well, unfortunately those fees like picking up seats, baggages, food, insurance CANNOT be claimed back ..meaning all burnt!! You can only claim Airport tax if you did not fly on that date

QUOTE(leonghan @ Feb 15 2012, 10:17 AM)

But i did not cancel anythg....

my fares was total RM 2490 + RM 350 (Pick a seat) = RM 2840
i plan to use CC for payment so = RM 2840 + RM 50 (Processing fees) = RM 2890
But my CC not enuf limit so i change it to direct debit which deduct RM 50 processing fees = RM 2840

but after i made payment..i realised my invoice is RM 2490 (tickets) + RM 350 (spoilage) = RM 2840...

Can i claim them about this because they simply cancel my seats without any notice..

I think you can't do anything or claim back. The term & condition and fees table already posted in their website.. and change of schedule except adding seats, food, insurance or baggages, they will charge you processing fees..

That's why you need to choose properly b4 commiting. I also learnt my lesson in the past...BTW, I think it is not wise to buy the ridicolous seats..super expensive and you can actually change wth others during the flight. It's all common understanding and there will be few single seat occupants there too and they will willingly change for you esp you offer them your single split window seat haha
QUOTE(leonghan @ Feb 15 2012, 11:31 AM)
i willing to pay the seats but not simply charge us spoilage without notice and because of RM 50 different for 5 pax..now they charge me extra RM 350 for spoilage and removed my seats which i already picked.

what can i do ?

Change seat wth those single occupant-lah.. It will be automatically things to do during the any AA flight nowadays.
QUOTE(leonghan @ Feb 15 2012, 11:45 AM)
sweat...
thats mean we only know the seat number when check in?
my flight time is 0050 so mostly sleep on plane but back time most probably will pick a seat because quite boring when sit with a stranger for 7hours...

Last time AA traps ppl on insurance ,,esp on the step "OK" & "Cancel".. Now, on this latest gimmick..be careful on the seats.. You need to remove all ..otherwise..damn expensive wor..Lucky I saw it before buying after realising my RM400+ ticket suddenly shoot up to RM500+, I go back & removed all the seats haha

Seoul.. to see snow..must be ~ Christmas time. If lucky occasionally you also can see snow in erly Dec & Mid Dec..I been there in Mid Dec.. no snow falls in Seoul but scattered snow on the roads and in outskirt of Seoul already snowing but I missed the snowfall..Just experience walking on thin snow in Nami Island & surounding..That's in Mid Dec. However, at that time of Mid Dec, I already experienced one of the coldest days in Dec in Seoul History..Even reported in Seoul news..temp dropped to minus 12C and wth wind, minus 18-19C damn coldddd

To expereince certainty of snow must be after Christmas of even better in Jan & Feb

So if RM400 to HK, is ~ the date you want to go grab liao.. no need to check..You will surely miss it! Last time I also likedat..ended up I missed the whole sales!

Well, up to you but do check the current MAS promo too..but check what plane they use..Last time using 737 to Taipei..damnit!
