Successfully downloaded checkrom 2.0 via IDM.
Now, I have installed CWM/ROM manager via market on my stock ROM. When I open the app and select reboot into recovery, once into recovery it says :-

E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed

whats wrong ?

Edit : Sorted it out, flashed to a custom kernel. (SiyahKernel V2.1) and the next thing you know the CWM loads with the full menu. Awesome.

Flashing my first custom ROM on my SGS2 for the first time. CheckROM 2.0 + siyyah2.1

Delete the folder..what I understand that when you uninstall app, it just remove the app but not the data.

did you tick the usb debugging?

Basically, android will kill idle apps but it does not do it instantly, don't really know the exact period. But if the apps/games is killed within a minute just to answer a call or reply a sms, I would say the problem lies with the app/game and not android. I think the code for the app/game does not allow you to jump to home screen or other app as it sees it as exiting. I hope i make sense to you.

Try and test a game called diversion. I know for sure i can resume this game as i play it alot lately. Calls came in, messages, turn off screen for a few minutes and i still can resume it without problem.

Edit: Also make sure you do not have any task killer working in the background.

I don't understand your concern. Once you flash that rom you will be on KJ3. KI1 or not is not a problem.

which package you use ? i'm using D98 and should get 3.6mbps. so i will downgrade my package to D68 so that the limit 1.5mbps is the same with the limit that i got now.

But overall, SGS2 is awesome. currently using CheckRomRevolution HD 2.0.0 with DarkNight Siyah kernel. No problem at all....

anyway yesterday did lot of factory reset reflash original firmware reflash checkrom and siyah kernel then only able to get back SU mode

does it due to new SU apps being install?

Not sure unless you post the icon. But i do not have any rooting problem with checkrom 2.0 or any of the siyah kernel i used before.

anyone has tried siyah kernel 2.2 beta9?..any improvement from beta6?tanx..

finally i managed to download n install the WCG 2011 version of Asphalt 6 for my 2.3.6 G. (download via GameHub)

before updated to 2.3.6. i cannot download it because it says that its not compatible with the phone (G version).

file size about 500mb++


*the WCG/free version just have the free race and WCG modes. so if wanna play the whole game, still need to buy the full game rite?

u go to GameHub--> Premium Games --> Gameloft section. u will find the Asphalt 6 there.

nope... you can play the full game.. i completed all the race with 5 stars each...

I just downloaded it from the Samsung App Store, it is the full version of asphalt 6 hd, but i rarely play it, i just leave it in my phone in case anyone wants to play around with my phone then i let them play that game
