QUOTE(volrath @ Dec 20 2011, 05:53 PM) web browsing/idling?????? Not just air comes out at the vent, I feel cold air comes out ada lah! haha.. when anything you do that does not sounds like gaming...its close to no heat at all, when I put my hand right on top of the vent cover, feels nothing at all. Even watching videos also same.. So for the activities above, you TOTALLY do not need a cooler. This post has been edited by nuttyking91: Dec 20 2011, 06:13 PM |

Added on December 25, 2011, 9:12 pm QUOTE(boyzai07 @ Dec 25 2011, 08:22 PM) I follow what lee_what2004 mentioned..Go to "Power Option">Click "Change Plan Setting">Click "advanced power setting">Scroll down till you see "Processor Power Management" and under this section change the Maximum processor state to 99%... use throttle stop the best. easier IMO. XD just google search Throttle Stop XDAnd Merry Christmas to all members.. This post has been edited by nuttyking91: Dec 25 2011, 09:12 PM |

I broke my ribbon locker in the process of changing Thermal paste Added on December 28, 2011, 12:54 am QUOTE(nnyymm @ Dec 27 2011, 08:10 PM) Omg damn awesome! Someone should make a sticky for this. not much difference actually, but i have better temp on idling/light processing. Gaming/heavy task not so much difference. Expect 1-5c difference lolI'll try it out soon when I'm prepared. xp One last thing, did replacing the TIM have a much better temperature result? i always get random freeze & sound distortion when playing games. I can't open up task manager or even force shut the program, only by pulling the plug or the on button for few seconds. Hmmm is this hardware or software based problem? So far no crashes when running stress programs like furmark n intel burn test.

QUOTE(ceriss @ Dec 29 2011, 11:58 PM) Dear all, hmmm u mean laptop skin? Hmmm. U can try the cheap ones found almost everywhere n stick. Or u can get ones from hydraskins? I just went to zagg website. From the claims, this can easilly be the best in terms of quality. Wonder where to get it here.I just purchased my Asus N55SF, any solution as who is selling zagg invisible shield or recommended solution to the finger prints cover lid? Is annoying seeing those prints over the cover Thanks in advance. |
