Not just air comes out at the vent, I feel cold air comes out ada lah! haha..

when anything you do that does not sounds like gaming...its close to no heat at all, when I put my hand right on top of the vent cover, feels nothing at all.

Even watching videos also same..

So for the activities above, you TOTALLY do not need a cooler.

laugh.gif usually the "theory" is when u r doing light task/nothing/browsing net, there is bigger difference between using a laptop cooler & without one. when u do gaming/heavy task, usually the difference in temperature won't be so big from what i see in forum laugh.gif can monitor your temperature using this XD

u can prolong it to 4hr+ with brightness set to minimum? but N55SF 3-4hrs is good enough d cuz screen 15inch + extra resolution suck more juice from battery =)

for me it's not that obvious lah. For me a laptop speaker, very good enough de tongue.gif even able to win computer's 2.1 speaker sets around rm100-200 in terms of clarity n mid range(not talking about bass n low range) . Low range is out of the question la of course smile.gif

+1 plus PLS BE CAREFUL with the ribbon lockers. some are push out by both side & some are FLIP out. I broke my ribbon locker in the process of changing Thermal paste sweat.gif doh.gif

not much difference actually, but i have better temp on idling/light processing. Gaming/heavy task not so much difference. Expect 1-5c difference lol

i always get random freeze & sound distortion when playing games. I can't open up task manager or even force shut the program, only by pulling the plug or the on button for few seconds. Hmmm is this hardware or software based problem? So far no crashes when running stress programs like furmark n intel burn test.

can problem be solved by reformat? Tried all new types of beta driver. Latest one being worse. 10 game startup i will get roughly 7times hang. Potong steam man. sweat.gif

I wonder if this laptop will last for my 4 yrs in uni. Now folding @ home + Firefox abt 10tabs, CPU temp abt 92C, max reach 97C, wattage avg 22.94W, max 27.54W .
GPU around 82-84C. wonder if this is the normal temp for this Intel Sandy Bridge GPU & GT555M when under load hmm.gif

hmmm u mean laptop skin? Hmmm. U can try the cheap ones found almost everywhere n stick. Or u can get ones from hydraskins? I just went to zagg website. From the claims, this can easilly be the best in terms of quality. Wonder where to get it here.
