if you use adapter at home, advisable to remove the battery to prolong battery life. running extensive application while on battery will wear outthe battery faster. I suspect when the battery is full with adapter on, it will produce 'beep' sound. so remove the batt & the beep will be gone smile.gif

u bought from miri where? price? is it the rebrand new model?
*
Bought it at PC Image @ Parkson. Its brand new and bought just a month before Asus included the 750 gb 7200 rpm HDD..

I tried everything even reformating the whole laptop & installing new windows.. Still problem persist.. Even tried installing & restarting the lappy while installing one driver at a time.. I suspect it could be related to the power source but I aint a technician.. just speculation..

lol the high pitch 'yee yee yee' sound? Lol that problem long time ady, can say when i first bought my N45SF(day 3 of official launch) ady got that problem til now ady. If u put adapter and battery on together at the same time, then run something heavy, then u'll get this sound. This sound has nothing to do with software, its sound of circuit overload which is totally not good at all. Do a few more times u might fry ur motherboard just like that
