I played it on high and had good frame rate also with other games. Thing is i just hibernated the pc, nothing more and sudenly almost all games have low frames. From what i tested nfs the run, anno 2070, skyrim and league of legends all were set to high and worked great and now they dont but moden warfare 3 still works on extra, it seems that for those games the one doing the rendering is the intel board Oo and for mf3 is the nvidia.

I realy dont know what to do...

perhaps the graphics driver crashed? hmm.gif try to close all games n perform reboot?

Hey guys,
I do not know if you had my same problem, just open the laptop I found a version of Chrome pre-installed but after I started I get having constant crashes "explorer".
In addition chrome has stopped working and there's no way to restart it either by restarting the computer.
Even the control panel I can not uninstall Chrome.
The only solution was to restore the hidden partition on the notebook.
Now after everything is installed and configured all the software I need, I'm afraid to download and reinstall chrome ...
Do you have any advice?
*
bro thats one thing i hate about the Windows preinstalled cuz it's all full of bloatwares & removing part of the bloatwares may cause some files to gone missing rclxub.gif My solution to this is to do a clean format n install a fresh version of Windows. Instruction should be at the first page of the forum smile.gif

Usually there shouldn't be any problem reinstalling chrome. Perhaps the registry key is screwed up. sad.gif

Heyyyyy Asusiansss!

I'm back! (this time, with CASH!) haha!

I think I have decided to go with N55 2352. TQ so much to lee_what for his opinion and the rest of you guys here!

N tmr is PC Fair, this will be first hunting ground.

Now now... what are the necessary check-up after I buy it. Like from the store.

1) Check for dead pixel, how do I go about it? (the laptop has pre-installed windows? So I go and, open...Paint? and turn screen white? I have no clue.

2) Check system specs to be sure?

3) ?????????

4) Bawa balik.

biggrin.gif Thanks guys!
*
u can ask them to boot to BIOS page where u can check for the specs & Dead Pixel. Well at least that's what i do to my customers while working during PC Fair laugh.gif

check the exterior for scratches, interior, screen, check the keyboard for loose keys... what else? hmm.gif

Guys IM having a problem updating my graphics card driver to 280.26 on my 45sf
I did everything according to steps posted on page 1.

Except on #4. enter display.driver file and then paste the inf file u downloaded into here.. copy and replace the original one...
I had no file to replace, so I just copied it in there.
WHen I went back and clicked setup, it said that the new driver is not compatible.
*
Nvidia has released new driver already, 285.62

download here

I don't think there is any game as intensive as that.

current solution now is using ThrottleStop n reduce the clock modulation to reduce temp while gaming sweat.gif

Guys, planning to get either N45 or N55. Whats the diff other than the screen size? Which 1 is recommended?
*
N55 have extra numberpad on the keyboard, plus another USB2.0, 2 USB2.0 on the left, 2USB3.0 on the right; N45 all 3 USB on the right. N55 heavier by 300g approx. N55 have higher resolution of screen HD+(1600x900) (depending on which N55). hmm.gif hopefully what i say is correct laugh.gif laugh.gif

Add me up on the family list!

Asus N55 i5 (Black)

Having hard time getting used to the keyboard layout lol.

Anyway, I just tried my very 1st game on this N55, Heroes Of Newerth(HON) finally, all at MAX settings, for the freaking first time I saw HON is actually a beautiful game hahaha....

1 thing though, my lappy is sooooo HOT! playing the game, hot till palm area, is this normal =.=...means I really need a laptop cooler lor like this...hot till feel a lil uncomfy.

Added on December 4, 2011, 11:18 pm103 processes, siao man Asus default!

But I don't dare to simply disable things off coz unsure of what they actually do sad.gif
*
note. most users here suffered from driver missing after uninstalling some games & programmes. usually is the Fn button, volume controls on the left side or the trackpad zoom, scroll & rotate not functioning. reinstalling the driver using the DVD provided will help. u can check for the list of useless softwares over on first page biggrin.gif

I'm too looking for laptop cooler. but since Asus current notebooks have little vents on the bottom, i wonder if notebook cooler will make any differences in the real world, no one have done any real temperature benchmark on this 2 models yet i think hmm.gif

Haha welcome to the boat.

The only thing that worries me, is the super hot temp now...
*
If you get too worried about the temperature, u can use throttle stop. reducing the speed of CPU when it's turned on. Can aso be used to disable turbo boost smile.gif

how to operate/use the throttle stop~ ?? can it reset the the cpu to its standard..? can u guide me wat should i press from the start?
*
make sure u have a 'tick' on your 'disable turbo' n make sure it's turn on. den if u wanna further reduce temp, u can tick on the 'set multiplier' n reduce it to maybe 20 or less. then you will see ur speed being reduced to 1.9GHz biggrin.gif

is there an side effects on using throttle stop app?
*
err none so far. I don't think throttle stop can overclock a processor. laugh.gif problem won't arise when u slow ur processor down, it will always arise when you increase the speed beyond normal like overclocking. but u need to ask the pro about this question as i might be wrong. brows.gif brows.gif
