ASUS N55SF-SX384...with 8 GB RAM

i have 2 problems, please help...:

first: I buy 4GB of RAM and now I have 8 GB but windows show me in properities of computer 8GB (6.66 usable)...why? how i change it?

second: when I playing Call od Duty 4 Modern Warfare, 4 year old game, after cca 10 minutes of play the game freezes and restart system...windows 7....when is problem please? help me...

hmmm u mean laptop skin? Hmmm. U can try the cheap ones found almost everywhere n stick. Or u can get ones from hydraskins? I just went to zagg website. From the claims, this can easilly be the best in terms of quality. Wonder where to get it here.

hye..i have a problem regarding to asus music now software..when i try the button on da left side top, it show a black screen n it say that the software were not install or the instllation are not complete??? i already try to reinstall it so many time but da same thing happen..really need ur help guys..

2. Try update the nVidia driver. Is it only that game or other games as well? Latest patch for the CoD ?

Did you try uninstall it first ? or straight install overwrite the old one ?

Think it'd be helpful for others. Also, has anyone opened into the insides of their computers yet?

You should have downloaded
win7-9.2.0.113-whql.zip
Then extract it to a folder

Open Device Manager, Right click the wireless adapter, update, browse, then browse to the folder you extract then next to install it.

hey guys. Just bought N55 not long ago. Any way we can change the volume adjuster to jump 1 by 1 instead of 6 by 6?

i've opened it once. not easy to open though. That's my first time exposing myself to the laptop interior n my first hands on for laptop (though i've opened my desktop n cpu heatsink etc countless of times) n it's more delicate to handle. There are MANY screws on this particular laptop, n you have to be VERY careful on the ribbon port for keyboard, subwoofer, n trackpad. Some of the ribbon locker use the push to lock/unlock n some use the flip method to lock/unlock. Due to my first time noobness i broke 1 of the ribbon locker n have to use small bits of paper to hold my trackpad ribbon in place. Haha all is fine when i perform my 2nd disassembly on my friend's laptop cuz experience before de lol. How to post up photos over here? Not the links thou, but to display photos here. I have an album i took when i was disassembling.

btw mine's n45. Not sure how different is it from n55 but suppose to be almost same? Hmmm

Yes please! Even photos would be helpful. Sucks to hear that this isn't an easy cleaning job. Can you add on photos some arrows indicating which ones are PUSH and which ones use FLIP?

Also what about the fan, is it hard to get to it?

oo ya.. did saw that brand here just now.. but already get the samsung m2.. i hope it is ok...
