Help help.. my 1 mth old Polo TSI (mileage less than 2k) had these problem and now it is CNY season. I really don't want to be the traffic jam creator on North South highway.

Problem 1-The EPC + check engine + anti-skid turn on. Then the car lost power and jerk. So i turn off and on, now it is back to normal. Will try to drive around before going down the highway.

Problem 2-Noticed that the air-cond not cold temporary...around 10 minutes.

History of my Polo.
During my first week.. windscreen broke. Fuel lid broke. And now this... sigh.

Holy crap. That is one badass accident. Didn't know the Golf R was a 'supercar'... I personally wouldn't call it that! laugh.gif

Anyway, I spoke to some folks last night and can confirm that right now, VW are working on pricing. Still no launch date yet.

Guys, do you have issue with Golf TSI or other models where you sprint 120km/h above you feel that your right foot vibrating/shaking/rumbling a bit?

Though the steering wheel has no issues, very steady on high speed but not for the bottom as I notice when high speed my foot on the acceleration pedal feel like slight vibrating, is it normal?

I'm on 18" Goodyear F1 with Caractere offset 40 with centre cones installed. I really hope its not my wheels issue.

Was kinda paranoia so I tried with my other car, though it had a hard time getting to 120km/h but the pedal does not make my right food vibrate.

Hi Guys,

I plan to buy the Golf TSI soon. Need to ask is it worth it to buy with "Light & Sound Package"? The difference in price is around RM7k. Because if not, I would rather spend it on something else smile.gif

*Light & Sound Package
Bi-xenon headlights, Dynamic and static cornering light system, Dynamic headlight range adjustment, Front fog lights,
Headlight cleaning system, MEDIA-IN USB/iPod media interface.

it's worth getting, since installing them aftermarket will be more hassle & might have warranty issue
i thought they no longer offer golf tsi without light & sound package?

To all Veedub's Sifu,

This will be the year that I can finally get my hands on a veedub, problem is which one? I have test drive all the models (except those MPV and 4x4) and literally left with two i.e. the passat and the GTI. Now i know that the 2 are very different and the passat was more of a wife pleasing car but when i test drive the mondeo ecoboost, God it was much better than the B7 which is cheaper too. If it weren't for the doubts for SDAC i would have opted it. I was informed that there will be a huge waiting list for the GTI while there are ready stocks for the B7 and the promotions offer from VGM is not applicable for GTI (not sure this one though). My problem is is the passat built quality and handling is as good as the GTI in your opinion. Which one gives a smirk everytime you come out from the car? Oh will there be a change in the rims and push start button for 2012 GTI model? Please enlighten me on this. All feedback are most welcome. Cheers.

my family's polo is giving us a whole lot of problem recently.
3 months ago it has a famous epc problem, manage to drive back sc and fix it within days.

And then last month, the steering start giving knocking sound when we turning left and right in a small degree.Took the car to sc, and they said they have to check with HQ whether they can disassemble it and fix it or not, and no respond till today.

And just now the whole car just wouldn't move, the gear indicator just kept flashing and the spanner tool keep flashing, called the road side assistant, only able to tow it tomorrow, luckily it spoil in my house only.

My location is in jb btw.My piece of advice for new potential owner is better think thrice before buying a polo tsi.
