this thread didn't active a while... by the way, wanna ask some question about this diecast model. GainCorp Sukhoi Su-47 Berkut 1/72 scale. this brand GainCorp is very rare. even at TaoBao also sell around RM160++ so is that worth to buy or not? or did anyone did have this kind of brand diecast before? hope to have some advice at here.

QUOTE(skyblu3 @ Dec 20 2013, 07:01 AM) Here's the blackbird that I took out from the storeroom. Didn't complete this many many years ago. Now, since I have the time, I've decided to complete building this plane. But can someone advice, are there any shops in KL for such hobbies? Mid Valley? I can't seem to find any of such shops these days. Check out this shop call myotaku in ampang. They have fb page also

Gaincorp is quite rare. I have only 1 of their model, a F15 Eagle, the details are pretty good, just that it is lighter than HM or WW

got my first set of witty wings (f18a). dunno whether it is a qc issue or whether it is expected of witty wings models, but some of the attachments do not seem to fit in properly (too tight/too loose) the f18a sure has a lot of tiny bits, especially for its landing gear. although i could do away with the headache of attaching those tiny bits by displaying the model in flight mode, i much prefer displaying it in all its landing gear glory. but if i glue 'em bits, it would effectively mean that i won't have the luxury of flight mode in the future any advice, sifus?

Witty wings always have such problem on their model. Normally i use tomiya knife to mod plus glue to make it fix to the body. Abt the tiny bits, i use knife or sand paper to remove it and repaint it back to smooth surface.

thanks for the advice. much appreciated yups! did the exact same thing for my witty models. since they're on display and i don't take them out often, those not too loose parts i just let them be. only glue those bits that gets detached by mere gravity pull.

I wanted to buy the J-20 but dunno which brand produce it... err bro... i think he mentioned 1/100 at the beginning. only strikermac's gaincorp's su-47 berkut is 1:72... j-20 very rare i suppose because not much information about the aircraft. i suppose only china companies carry them. found one on ebay J-20 but the quality looks so-so only.
