QUOTE(Dannyl @ Nov 18 2011, 05:41 PM) Problems: some people have experienced crashes, SMS failed to send, can't hear the other side calling, etc. But these are few and far between. Cons: depends on your needs. The only con to me is the 3.7" size. If this is a 4" phone, it would be THE perfect phone for me noted down. thanks! QUOTE(annoymous1234 @ Nov 19 2011, 12:47 AM) just charge until full. the 8 hours theory doesnt work anymore seriously? its not working anymore? QUOTE(-kytz- @ Nov 19 2011, 04:19 PM) ....and it was mentioned somewhere in this thread or the previous one, that SEP 2 years will be ending this year. Will be only 1 year from then on. Dunno true or not means end of Dec huh? omg im gonna get one before 2012!

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Nov 19 2011, 10:30 PM) I need not to do the maths. I restate my thought. *Look at the bold part first* Ace is below 900 and it has Gorilla. Just an answer to that question telling that it's possible to get Gorilla below 900. Nothing else. Arguments end here Do you think it's worth trading Gorilla glass for these: -1.4Ghz Snapdragon -Adreno 205 -512MB ram -bigger internal storage -3.7" WVGA screen -bigger battery And Gorilla glass is not even that much stronger than regular glass. My Cowon comes equipped with one; it fell on a wooden floor from the magazine rack underneath my coffee table and the screen cracked in half. My friend's Galaxy Ace fell numerous times while inside a leather casing, but the last fall finally managed to cracked the top portion of the glass.

My friend's Galaxy Ace fell numerous times while inside a leather casing, but the last fall finally managed to cracked the top portion of the glass. The thing is... I'm just telling that there's phone <RM900 with Gorilla Glass. Nothing else. Answering your question, nope, it's not worth trading the specs for Gorilla Glass. The gorilla glass on S2 seems to be very strong. No?? Seeing how they do the drop test and only a small part cracked.

Gorilla Glass is strong, I accidentally dropped my Ace and Transformer from waist height on their corners once and they both survived with little to no damage. I think, with regular glass, I would have expected to see some chipping or a bit of cracking after that kind of treatment.

QUOTE(and.inc @ Nov 20 2011, 04:25 AM) As a Senior Member at XDA ROM development is in WIP for SGW..However a few individuals have started to work on them just have to wait for section forum to be approved and once Cyanogenmod come into the community we will have GB 2.3.7 with tested OC kernels then this phone standout. dont forget to vote http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1301121

You just can't discuss Cracked/Pirated/Ehemhemhemhemhem software/apps here. I don't think there's anything wrong discussing custom rom. It's not against the law pun. We got the hardware, android is quite open for modification, google din sue anyone for modifying their OS. No problem gua... It's like discussing Custom firmware for Routers. Not something illegal to be discussed. Don't worry so much. lol

QUOTE(game4life @ Nov 20 2011, 12:47 PM) Not to forget we might get Cyanogenmod 9 coz the developers are jumping straight from 7 to 9 hopefully getting HoneyComb as IceCream is targetted for Tablets...keep our fingers crossed. Cyanogenmod 7 I would say is 98% perfect !.......Imagine what CM9 can do for SGW ! This post has been edited by and.inc: Nov 20 2011, 03:27 PM
