I hav done most of the test with this modem except to use it with HW550, i will test later next morning when i get hold of the router later tonite

ping is good, but speed so so only now



i also noticed a new band of ip early this morning, u guys get it b4?

the xxx.xxx.abc.xxx

the abc is not 124 or 125 its totally new

and the speed is one of the fastest i posted too, could it be the UMTS900 band?

yea i get the 124 & 125 this whole morning, those IP have amazing LOW PING ever,.. i get 34~47ms PING with those IP. now am back to 252 & 253

My speed was captured with 253 one if that really matters.

i guess my area my signal tower is LAME,.. as they love to connect with mobile instead of modem,..!!!

I just subscribed to maxis mobile internet for HTC Flyer promotion and the package is 6GB data only (without voice).

I need to confirm the following:

1. I have been told the APN is unet and can I take out the SIM card and use in a USB modem? Will it be chargeable?
2. What if I change the APN to maxisbb? will it be chargeable?
3. What is the difference between my current package of mobile internet without voice and wireless broadband?

The 100% signal doesn't seem to be helpful in your connection.

yea lately i realise signal is not the main key,. main key is the best spot where u places it,. if they happy in the spot then amazing speed will appear even though only 35% signal

Just for your information, my PJ home only shows 2-3 bars of HSPA on green dashboard. Yet, my speed is still awesome. So yeah, signal doesn't really affect that much.

if FULL signal do make different, bet i will get higher,

but not really, sometimes 35~55% signal is better speed and PING than FULL,..

signal 5 bars on my Zoom router, but Ping is not tat low
