Try turning it off and report back the fps. hard to believe a 5850 can do a constant 60fps using ultra at full hd

AMD Athlon II X2 4400e @ 2.7GHz
2GB DDR3 Corsair RAM @ 1600MHz
Sapphire ATI Radeon 6770 1GB

All Medium except Shadows on High, AF and AA set to 2x
1680x1050
Averaging at about 35fps.. But micro stuttering happens very often.

The single, cheapest and the best upgrade you can give yourself is more RAM.10 GB on my system made BF3 playable.

Borderline 60 fps on high. Tend to dip below 60 more often than not, hence I lowered the settings to medium.

The wierd thing is i'm running the same settings on my old 5770 and the new 560Ti.

No noticeable difference in FPS
