QUOTE(lucidlts @ Dec 12 2011, 02:20 PM) Hmm.... but cyclone said the Anniversary version of Pure (i assume is something similar to Race) with CNC aluminium casing + LED also around Rm400.... which one's profit? QUOTE(clawhammer @ Dec 12 2011, 07:57 PM) Sigh... sad but true....QUOTE(koolzuru @ Dec 12 2011, 10:34 PM) Good for you QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Dec 12 2011, 11:23 PM) The disto doesn't take out anything. Each model comes with different accessories. Most of the Filco comes with key puller. For some reason the more expensive main stream majestouch 2 does not. The cheaper ninja and the even more expensive camouflage version comes with them Yeah, the L.E. and Ninja have the keypuller and sometimes additional keycaps, i think those who get additional accessories such as red esc or wasd is the seller add themselves.... |

QUOTE(kEazYc @ Dec 13 2011, 12:06 AM) Well, i got my blue limited edition from taiwan it was comes with them then. Saw this promotion every now and then, some taobao sellers also offer that accessories bundle....So my current AI-2 that i bought locally doesn't comes with them since its limited edition as well, shall i claim it from you? EDIT, found something interesting, read link below for more info. http://www.inpad.com.tw/goods.php?act=view&no=4072 Whether they are having promotion or what so, i not sure about it, things behind the entertainment world is very very dark, if you get what i meant. So you guys do the judgement har, i don't want talk too much. so dunno whether such extra goodies are by the sellers themselves or by FILCO... |

QUOTE(Marclgw @ Dec 13 2011, 07:42 PM) Its was at the Taiwan Exhibition. Thanks for the clarification... This is not an official model by Cherry at this point of time. G80-3800 will be the next model that will be arriving in 1st quarter of 2012. you mean the new one with the so-called "low profile" keycaps??? IMHO, that one is very very ugly..... no offense... but really ugly..... |

Wa.... didnt check for 2 days so many things happening???
regarding the keycaps, well, im crossing my fingers until cyclone gets his verdict (but i highly doubt that it would sustain the electrolytes *sweats* that came from hands/fingers molesting the keycaps.... @cyclone: IT products are non-taxable? even desktop computers also? |

QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ Dec 20 2011, 09:49 PM) according to kastam tariff PDF file, yes, Desktop computer parts are not taxable, except phone which requires sirim Oh... i see... was thinking of getting Alienware Area51 from US then ship back here (when i work in the future) .... coz the price in dell malaysia too F***ing expensive.....But beware if you purchase electric appliances(which has power plug) from foreign country, they require sirim which you need to "pay for the SIRIM" Then they will test your stuff and Approve it to be save using in Malaysia(provide you with a SIRIM sticker on your appliance) no blood to vomit.... QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Dec 20 2011, 10:34 PM) Buy denture tabs from pharmacy, most common is Polident, tablet type. Was thinking of this idea back when saw it in GH, but is it applicable to pad printed keycaps also? or those lasered with infil... the tablets wont "clean" them off??? Put 3-4 tabs for 1 keyboard, throw all the keys in, wait 30 minutes, rinse and dry. Everything will be nice afterwards QUOTE(Human10 @ Dec 20 2011, 11:14 PM) Kastam holding keyboard may be reasonable but keycaps? I think they are like "APA KETAHIAN INI??!?!?!"... |

QUOTE(kEazYc @ Dec 21 2011, 12:29 PM) You better reconsider your intention of ordering alienware products oversea, alienware products are known to have a lot of problem (yes i sold a lot of them, 10 out of 7 come back for warranty), so if you're going to order from US, you sacrifice the warranty. oh... i was just interested in the desktop version of alienware, the Area51 to be exact, mainly for the casing.... because the top of the casing will open up like scales when you power the cpu, allows ventilation... PURE YENGNESS!!!!QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ Dec 21 2011, 01:16 PM) @offtopic, the only thing that alienware attracts me, are their casing design and ventilation, something like when temperature raises, the casing will actually open the gap to allow better ventilation, very cool. so what you situation indicates is that our "beloved" government is revising its import duties & taxes?but i got no moolah buy, they doesn't even sell casing separated as well. well, again.. no moolah, Haiz, already printed my invoice, and schedule tomorrow to go penang kastam. i smell suspicions... Guys, comparing clears with browns, which one is more tactile?
from what i learnt, browns actuation force = 45g, clears = 55g, meaning clears is stiffer, but the "bump" on clears is more prominent than the one in browns, meaning clears > browns in tactility? |
