Noppoo Choc keycaps uses Cherry Profile, so those awesome faces will fit with a similar height  tongue.gif
Don't think ergonomics has anything to do with that.

@westley0214
Probably they did not put the keycaps back properly.

the Esc definitely cannot fit.... old cherry profile....

LOL RM180(min, after charges/taxs/postages should reach over 200) for a keycap? I doubt (m)any ppl in this thread will get them(except squarebox maybe, he rich fag).

IMO, I rather spent the RM200 for a Lego Darth Vader then mod them onto my keyboard, PROFIT?

Hmm.... where's my lego when i need them.....

wah, wtf la, i collecting money so hard for KBT Pure Anniversary edition, now this lure me, omg, la, no money d.
*
KBT Pure what so special other than the green LED and improved layout??? hmm.gif
QUOTE(Human10 @ Nov 24 2011, 05:56 PM)
Go ahead for your Pure, the keyboard above is not mean for daily typing anyway(not enough key and the grid keys placement is quite awkward to type on).

The main reason you will ever buy them are for the quality double shots keycaps(made by Devlin) but do note that they are UNIPROFILE one(not too ergonomic but good for those who like changing QWERTY to different layout). Also, do note that they are made in UK, not China, LOL...

IMO, Devlin is Captain Obvious as they even made blank black doubleshots(in other words, naked black doubleshots keycaps)... rclxub.gif

the normal version is RM1XX~2XX which does not have backlit, and using normal ABS Casing with ABS keycap, PBT is add-on option which is +RM50

The 2nd Anniversary Special Edition is around RM400 with fullbacklit, Aluminium Anodize Casing, POM Keycaps.

The pictures you looking at are their normal version.

The acrylic casing is for testing, prototyping.
Actual KMAC is Aluminum based.
4 Options

black with win key (1.5x front row modifier + 7x space)
black winkeyless (standard FILCO/LEOPOLD front row)

Silver with win key (ditto)
silver winkeyless (ditto)

First batch started ordering in early november, 100 units, got snatched up pretty fast I think.
International batch gonna be around January/February timeframe.

I'd love it if we could split shipping.  rclxms.gif

283000 Kr Won per set.
I don't read korean, but maybe they come with the PCB too.

Taeyong, one of the organizers at KMAC said he is going to offer these to GH and DT in Jan/Feb next year. Just piggyback that and get stuff shipped from Korea.
There looks to be some cheap FILCO's round garage sales. Why not you take a look?

Bro, chill down. Get your fact right first b4 pointing your missile to me...
I don't own a G510, thats why I can't give comment bout it, not involving any sarcasm here, OK? whistling.gif
Also, not that I am really interested in G510 itself, I just share the 5KRO thing for which it is like the "official statement" from Logitech.

Ignorant? You mean I say he wrong thread part? G510 indeed should not be discussed in this thread.
*
I know you cant give comments since you dont own one, but you can at least be more friendly to him, not splash cold water into his face, maybe he's trying to know the board before making decision whether to purchase or not and you ask him go buy and test himself.... think in his shoes and you will feel offended as well....

The second part, i also know he's in the wrong thread, but i also suggested him to go to the gaming keyboard thread since G510 is not a mech keyboard... (just that i forgotten that he can also asked in logitech thread.... sweat.gif )

I know you're an honest people and someone who speaks his mind, but what i hope you can do is, make your approach friendlier, that's all... wink.gif

heya, guys, does anyone of you interested in Doubleshot Devlin Keycaps? I have just recently contacted Devlin and received replies from them.

we can manage our own group buy in here. i will organize one soon on Geekhack and deskthority.

Their Keycap are significantly better than Signature Plastic. but do beware that they will be much more expensive due to thicker keycap mold as well as better quality.
Pictures provided at below.

Devlin Q Series, they are Low Profile, available in Laser etch, Double Injection, and Blank.
Devlin QS Series, Stepped version of Qseries, Low profile, available in Laser etch, Double Injection, and Blank.
[attachmentid=2556749]

Devlin K Series, they are High Profile, available in Laser etch, Double Injection, and Blank.
[attachmentid=2556750]

Devlin J Series, they are Medium Profile, available in Laser etch, and Blank
[attachmentid=2556751]

if anyone of you interested in US ANSI Layout, and can be fitted on Filco, Ducky, or any keyboard that is using US ANSI Layout, please tell me. i'm planning a Standard kit keycap set (144 keys?).
Still in planning phase thou, will open a interest check(IC) thread in both geekhack and deskthority soon for checking interest.

The main part worries me now will be the bigger keys, like spacebar(will try ask them to make space bar mold that could be able to fit both filco and leopold, a universal space bar), Shift keys and modifier 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, 2x. not sure if they have the molding equipment for it thou.

i'm interested in their K Series, high profile double injection, damn sexy  brows.gif  brows.gif  brows.gif
*
OMG... the K series... the keycaps are sooooo thick.... can compare withe legendary Cherry Doubleshots....
Btw, the K series are spherical??? hmm.gif hmm.gif

That universal thing, i thought KBC already had made those?? Their larger PBT keycaps, for example the spacebar, at the bottom, there are all the stem receiver at all the different distances, pretty neat already... laugh.gif

well, i think it's nearly a new keyboard already, Signature Plastic Double shot are price range are 35~80 USD depending on MOQ of 25 set above.

i think Devlin might be the same, or even more expensive.
My expected price range are 40~90 USD on MOQ of 25 set above
they are thicker than Legendary Cherry Doubleshots... lol

Yeah, they are high profile spherical, since their keycap molding are old school type. but i think it's comfortable enough anyway.

For the Universal Spacebar, KBC already had those in PBT Keycaps, but wouldn't it be pain in the ass for ordering from both Devlin and KBC? plus color does not match too. IMSTO from KBC only offers White PBT Universal Spacebar for the moment.

Added on November 28, 2011, 3:11 pm

well, yeah, i'm aware of that, and that is why i didn't order FC200, they will be replace by FC700 replacement, i will post more picture about FC700 after i receive a working sample.

FC700 spacebar will be compatible with FC500.

So my plans for Devlin spacebar are design to fit on FC500 which will be compatible with FC700 in future.
*
Hmm... i think the typing feel wouldnt be so much of a difference between spherical and curved cylinder.... especially if you're touch typing, unless you purposely type slow slow just to "feel" the awesomeness of your keycaps.... LOL

QUOTE(Akiyo @ Nov 28 2011, 10:14 PM)
Hello guys, newbie into Mechanical KBs here.

Anyway, i only learned about mechanical keyboards lately, and i went to read up on the mechanical keyboard guide.

I am currently using a Razer Lycosa, which, unfortunately, is a complete piece of sticky shit and i regret every cent spent on it. I am looking for a switch to mechanical keyboard as soon as possible, and i need some advice from fellow veterans here.

With the nature of mechanical keyboards, i am expecting a high price tag in general, so what would be the cheapest, yet decent affordable gaming grade mechanical keyboard, and the easiest way to buy it in malaysia selangor region?
*
Erm... not a veteran here, but can give you some advices, but whether it is proved useful to you is totally up to your speculation.... laugh.gif

First, you need to know what switches you are intended to use, which in this case, is best if you can try the switches yourself...
Secondly, the price tag varies with different brands and different switches, the cheapest mechanical keyboard now (which i think it is...) is based on Alps mechanical switches, Ducky Alps, aroun Rm180 when reached here.... but if you want cherry mx switches, there are a wide range of choices....
Thirdly, there are no gaming grade mechanical keyboard, this question have been asked and asked and asked for all eternity, and the answer is still the same, the switch that suits you the best is your best mechanical keyboard. Because i saw people playing FPS with cherry mx blues and can pawn noobs with cherry mx black even though the general thinks that cherry mx black is best suited for FPS games. The point here is, choose what you want.... dont trust others... others can only give recommendations and suggestions, but the final decision rests ultimately on your choice.....

Well, i think i talked too much as im still a newbie myeslf.... so before i being shoot by veterans here, i think you can also wait suggestions from mod cyclone, veteran Squarebox, lucidits, keazyc and kaiserreich to answer.... if they will... nod.gif nod.gif
