for those who are looking for a low priced mechanical keyboard for "test-water", i recommend PLUM. I got mine for around 188, pretty cheap if u ask me. same like bai1101's board, 6kro usb and 9kro ps2.

In fact, keyboard first existed as mechanical keyboard. Till the revolution and take over by rubber-dome due to the cheaper to be made to cut cost.

In early years of PC being commercialized(around 80), PC could easily cost over 10k. Keyboard and other computer parts cost over 300-400 around then.

Pay a visit to Imbi Plaza and try to find some old mech keyboards ?? Lots of old stuff/junks at 1st floor the last time I been there...

i personally didn't heard about DAS this brand, any members own it? and what is your's top 5 KB?

some other said programmer KB like logitech G19 is the king, but i think is only for the MMO players, not for FPS players.

Filco Pink or Filco Lotus Pink should be the most feminine Mech KB I ever saw.
Sadly, they are only available from Taiwan/China(mostly) which most probably the website gonna be in Chinese(and not necessarily ship internationally to Malaysia).
Though, you can try to use google translate or ask for help of those who know Chinese around here. We are willing to help.

Extra: If you are tight on budget. Then you may consider another cheaper option - PLU 87(pink color).

I not sure on the stock avaibility but it is still widely being show in lots taobao store and often being discussed in China forums.

Another thing to be note too is Filco Lotus is now MJ2 also despite it is being there since the MJ1 time IIRC.

Yes all check it already he is really serious now typing on SteelSeries 6GV2.  The keyboard still look new & smell new look awesome without any scratch & dust on it so does the BAG. 

1. My story is, TS send the keyboard to me first without me pay him anything since I don't trust him due to the item selling cheap you all know right how much this keyboard price+this include BAG huh   first thing that come on your mind is CONMAN so does me. TS agree without second thought about pos laju it to me first then pay later a big applause to TS    so I'm surprise at first so okie lar I said to him after the item arrive & do some checking then I will pay him RM150 instead RM120 as we agree.  So the deal is done successful big thank to brain0empty (TS) I will pay him tomorrow morning.

2.  Before this I did asked for Bro. lucidlts to do COD for me but he can't due to different area.  Then after that I asked for Bro. Apis_Lualua at first he agreed but until the next day when TS want to COD at Pappa Rich @ Gardens at 12.30pm Bro Apis can't make it since he only COD during night day so I ask Bro. Apis discuss with TS at the end I think TS can't COD with Bro. Apis mention time since TS has a busy schedule.  so COD deal is cancel.

So that brought to the first story up there yeah.

Now just waiting for Bro. lucidlts Pre.Order the PLU-ML87 Blue switch from him.

I will wait for some review first. This may be my first Cherry-branded keyboard. (though it don't really count as this time it is made in china, by China OEM somemore)...

Lets wait and see how much quality being compromised to achieve such a low price.

Saw it around back then January in China forum by those Chinese which live or had access to US's market. It is now quite widely available from Taobao.

It is another keyboard by iOne, but so far the review/built(from pictures) seems good. Though, I still don't hold full hope on it as almost all iOne keyboard(yar include razer BW...) failed big time b4.

But one interasting point to be note is that there is even a aluminium casing version of the keyboard, not sure when will be launched though. If it really being launched, it should be the first commercialized mechanical keyboard with aluminium casing(on default).

lol, partially agree with it but I still think better wait for more details first.

It isn't actually the problem with RM200+/- but a Cherry branded keyboard at that price is really too fishy... May be I am too skeptical...

Subconsciously my mind was always on getting to know what mechanical keyboards were - I do admit that I was always crazy about keyboards but mainly for its tactile feel and the clicking sound... so when I visited this Thread, seeing hundred over pages made me think of how much time I needed to read through it all - so the best way of the pudding is in the tasting of it - hence I just jumped into buying my first ever after reading the first page of this thread and narrowed down my preference to the Ducky MX Blue - because I needed one with Tactile feedback and Clickety sounds...

And all this was 2 hours ago. Now I am proud to type this message to you all - with the Ducky DK-9008 Shine MX Blue While Led Mechanical Keyboard.  And here's my sharing. Please welcome me to the thread.
