depending on the question. for example, how to root my phone?, how can I flash original firmware?
These type of questions where all the answer are already been handed on a silver platter by uncle benny.
do you expect user here to write down the instructions all over again just for your sake?

read the the first page, don't understand a certain part then you can ask here, isn't that more convenient for you and people here to help you? (you here as in general, not you )

Um guys, if I wanna downgrade my firmware say from 2.3.5 to 2.3.3, do I have to wipe all data or just flash like usual using Odin ?

finally done testing on checkrom 2.0 with siyah 2.1.1. these are the results:

All of a sudden my earpiece (receiver) isn't working at all. Phone calls can be heard in speaker mode but not in the earpiece. I was in the middle of a call when the earpiece went out, can this be a software problem?

My S2 is rooted and running Foxhound 2.5 Rom.

its not that hard to explain small little things. in my case, yeah i'll explain to them. the thing that is hard for us senior members, is to respond to questions like "how to root my phone", "do i need root" or some sort of same questions that require instructions. if the question is whats the difference between rom and kernel, what is baseband, sure i can guide you. but for instructions, a big no no for me.

in the world of 2004-2007, you post a new thread dedicated for simple question, no one will flame/shoot you, but now people improves along the technology, guides are everywhere. Hence, in certain forums, got sticky for starters. when i was modding my psp, there was no single sticky yet, and i even make my own guide and people direct to my thread.

so yeah, read first before asking unless it is so urgent~~ urgent rooting your phone? no thats not urgent, if you are in hurry, dont root yet and find a free time. no one forcing you to flash/root or anything, so read the information available first.

oh and yeah, if you dont want to read all, just find the relevant one. you want root? search for root keywords. its that easy~~

I'm planning to downgrade my 2.3.5 to 2.3.3 and I wanna know is it just flash normally using Odin or need to wipe everything, yes I tried Ctrl+F on first page and Google didn't give me answers.

if you refer to antt00 post #2579 you'll find the answer is YES, please do a wipe first before you flash any roms., be it custom or stock roms. Always wipe then only you flash a new rom.

Someone i think just answer your question, just wipe first if you want to downgrade to 2.3.3, you on custom rom or stock rom?, in custom rom just flash using recovery...or just use odin if you on stock rom.

Why do you wanna downgrade? You using G version?

Yes I understand how you feel as well as other seniors in this thread feels but maybe I'm still not a senior in this thread yet, but time will tell.

Non-G, I find on 2.3.5 the transition is kinda laggy and when you add the task manager widget the homescreen will become slightly choppy. (Slightly as in quite obviously noticable.) And the blue glow on the browser sucks. 

Good thing is they fixed the overheating issue though.
