To me, for the ETC, mainly related to the throttle response only, it definitely won't make your car more powerful. It only eliminates the throttle lag. So what if your throttle is d*mn responsive? Does it make your engine accelerate better? You're still having the same hp & torque from your engine. Its like cooking omelette using microwave instead of using normal frying pan..

since our throttle is electronically controlled, there is a simple way to 'readjust' it.
before u turn on your car, press the throttle pedal fully down then turn on your car.
then let go.
no need to crank it.

That is to calibrate the throttle pedal position. To let the pedal sensor know how much is 0% & 100% when pedal are stepped.

How to do? Step on the throttle pedal and start the car at the same time?

just press till max before you put in your key, and turn your key to the position that show the engine warning light on, and than release, finish and now can crank your engine , but idon't know was it workable for PE.

Do you want a smoother throttle during stop-and-go/traffic jam? Do you want a more sensitive throttle during hill attack/overtaking? What you want is what an ETC can offer (and you still think you don't need it). **not trying to make a sale here. Just sharing facts**

Why here? With the amount of post going on every single minute, and new threads every few weeks, useful info will submerge. I share hell lots in my FB (find the appropriate photo/album/note to ask).
