I guess it depends on how successfull the sales figures is. If there is good uptake then we could see the white colour soon.

I might have considered getting the Lumia if it had internet sharing. Total deal breaker for me. If I didn't have internet sharing, I would have missed my flight because the retarded AirAsia mobile app cannot doesn't support WinPho, not even the web version. Hotspotting for my iPad saved me hundreds of bucks.

Yes Mango has build in support, just that Nokia has not enabled the feature yet. OEM and carrier still has some control on what is made available on the Windows Phone platform.

Until tethering is supported, then this is a deal breaker for me. Love the design of the Lumia 800 compared to the iPhone, but I don't have internet access at home right now (just moved) and I've been using tethering to get my laptop to connect to the net.

Warning, unless you really need Telco billing, DO NOT set the your LiveID region to Malaysia. You loose the whole Xbox Live branch!

So my recommendations about using a secondary LiveID still stands!

to be frank with you guys, i've ditch my lappy long long time ago since i get my hand on wp7. since you already got the lumia dont be too disappointed yet , try it for a week or two you will amaze with how wp7 will server you, you will not want to carry your laptop while you are on the move.

Though i rarely use my laptop nowadays, it's still necessary for several tasks because of how restrictive wp7 and ios are. There are just some things that can't be done. Even simple things like creating new photo albums is too troublesome without a lappy because facebook app is just full of bugs which make uploading impossible

wp7 facebook integrated you dont even need FB Apps to do photo upload. simply shoot and upload.
Photo management is neat and simple , all facebook photo you uploaded will appear under Photo hubs, you can even reply comments on the same page under photo hubs. you can also read or reply any incoming comments straight away from your Home screen METiles.

each photo you took will set to auto or manual upload to application that link to wp7

- photobucket
- twitter
- facebook
- Linked
- Flickr

there might be more app can integrated with wp7 , that's only some i use.

To be frank with you, I can't ditch my laptop I need it to play games (Skyrim, TF2) so I can't ditch it. Also I prefer surfing on a laptop, the desktop browsers are way better and have Flash.

I may buy the Lumia 800 as my main phone once Nokia adds tethering though.
