QUOTE(SonicSpyro @ Jun 12 2012, 11:19 PM) Hi, It's a new programme there that they're starting this August. I'm one of those who were interviewed as a pilot for the project... There are 3 stages that we had to go through but it could've changed in the mean time. There was an online assessment of questions ranging from a few topics (basic stuff such as English, Maths and problem solving and so on). After that would be the interview and after you pass that is the final interview... They want 20 people for the programme and so far, I haven't heard of anyone new joining the programme just yet (maybe the bulk will join in August). Most of the overseas normal working hours are from 11am to 8pm. During month-end closing, it would vary based on the region/country. For UK-closing, its from 3pm to about 11pm (transport to and fro provided). For US, like you said, come in night and leave in the morning (I am not sure on this one as I have not had the chance to join the US team yet). Personally, I like the working environment. The office layout (big tables and not cubicle type) and the people there are quite friendly. Tips for the interview, show that you are really keen to work in the company. The questions are not that mind-blowing as you might think. agree with you... i went for the interview... and the interviewers were so friendly. and the front desk staff too! hehehehehe environment wise i giva a thumbs up! well at least what i observed...

Hurm, I was interviewed and offered by BPSC by the end of last year. Unfortunately I had to turn them down. Salary is not discussed during the interview and HR offered me in accordance to their salary scale.
From what I can recall : Annual Leave - 18 days Medical Coverage - for me and family (cant recall the limit) Maternity for wife - up to RM2,500/year Bonus - once per year (average 2 months) Environment - since my friend is already there, she mentioned that it is a good, knowledge sharing environment. Manager do manage and not a dog eat dog world.

Good work environment there. I like the jeans for dreams on Wednesday where you get to wear jeans to work but you make a donation (any amount) to a charitable fund (they put a tabung in the pantry).

Hi all, I am thinking to apply for a finance job with BP Msia. I had audit backgrounds in big4 and prof certs in accounting. However, i don't have any exposure to SAP..kinda worry whether it's really necessary..
Can I know what's the salary scale for my level? and how's the increments & career opportunities in BP Malaysia? Thanks.

They are cutting down on shared service jobs, most of them are being outsourced to IBM I guess. For operations wise, I think should be fine. Pay not that great though.
