Offset rim have their spoke design going inwards rather than touching the lips of the rim. That's why the calliper can't clear the spoke. Have to get other design. Got try 16" offset type too. But in the end gave up becoz the damn tyre is expensive. I use my car everyday n long distance travel. Sakit lei.

i dont think its legal...cause in jpj website there stated

If u follow the actual rules from JPJ for the number plate and the character size, then almost every car in the road also can get summon. The size the of character required is much larger. Even police car also failed. sweat.gif

I guess it is legally acceptable (close one eye) if:
* The alpha-numeric size are big enough as per JPJ rules.
* The font size and type are big and similiar enough, with proper spacing.
* The sticker type is White on a Black background. If your car is not black, then you may need to paint a square-black area.

If you notice, some motorcycles front plates are painted black, then white-sticker alpha-numeric on it.

Base on the above rule. Can I just get a Black Sticker and stick on my car bumper? or bonnet with the White Number?

We are not JPJ, so can't approve for you. But I guess you can put a black sticker background (make sure proper size and not too small), then white letterings on it (proper size & font also).

I guess it won't cause trouble, unless you have other mods which may trigger them to stop you at roadblock.

This recalls, my ex-kapchai also, dark green. For the front license-plate (sideways), the shop just stick white letterings on it, not even black background. I got stopped several times at roadblock, but check driving license & roadtax only. No problem what ? tongue.gif

Standard 1.7" tall for the wording & numbering and gap 5mm for each spacing in between letters and numbers.

White in colour lettering and numbering. Basically that is what is you need to know when you make a plate. No problems at all.

Metal numberings and wording is not allowed than because it's not white.

Sifus and bros, may I know what is the differences between standard crank pulley and lightened crank pulley? How will it increase the performance? And has it got any disadvantages?

Metal allowed (as in whole piece metal plate), as embossed type is metal. BUT must paint white on the metal letters.

EON embossed and paint it white for my license plate. They have that big machine. My SA brought me along when collect my car plate at Glenmarie long time ago.

Metal in white paint? Not used to seeing those. Shiny metals ones i have seen before.

Anyway, i just got a new O2 sensor for the car and currently hoping that it would settle my check engine light on problem. If not 93T.
