Heard 4G13 block wall is not thick enough to use 4G18 stroker kit. Need to use 4G15 block. I think only few hundreds for empty block.

But you say high rpm when cruising at that speed. That is not because of engine, but your gearbox ratios. 1.3 gearbox have smaller ratios than 1.5. Mine is worse, at 120km/h, my rpm is at 4k.


nelsonlye, wah target so high boost. Sure the block can withstand it? Normally heard people only boost 0.5 for SOHC 92..

Yeah aim for that kind of boost. As my block is 4g9x family same as GSR. So shouldnt have any issue with tat kind of boost. Important internal must upgrade.......

Tats why is gonna to be a year of project...

Have to upgrade so much, is it still worth it to use 92 engine? I think after upgrade everything the cost is about the same or more than buying 93T or 67 engine.

if change to 4G15 block then can settle at JPJ? I thought they won't approve "rojak" engine

Well, i'm going to enjoy the process... Cause all my stuff able to use on 4G63T Engine...so next time i can just upgrade to Evo engine without any issue....

U sure??? 1.2bar? Gsr has oil squirters to cool down the piston. NA version doesn't have that. Careful oh.

shouldn't be a problem gua, coz you just change the engine, some more same type of engine with other 1.5 Wira. they just check the engine number at the block, they don't see your gearbox or your engine head.

any of u guy replace the oxygen sensor before? Some car manufacturers advised to replace the sensor at certain mileage.

Btw, I suspecting my MAP sensor there is having some leakage at high RPM. Foreman told me the plastic at the sensor might already crack and need to replace it. My sensor is a VDO sensor, not sure where to look for it besides going to Proton.

Anyone know where in Klang provide good service and price for overhaul? Appreciate if anyone can recommend. Thanks.
