depends. I got a 100MB data plan i use it with whatsapp cant even finish and viber it only data s**ker if you use the VOIP.

I choose Nokia lumia 800 over n9 because of the awesomeness of the social integration. I can link all the account of a specify user and access anytime even their photo gallery. I use whatsapp and wp7 have it. The email of the Wp7 works seamlessly no issue whatever.

Where got data sucker? I think Im one of those unlucky fella affected by the massive battery drain when using Whatsapp. Somehow Nokia blamed it on Whatsapp as usual. Not everyone is affected by the bug. I wonder if the situation is better with Belle.

Anyone got any idea when nokia 808 available? Although with doubt due to the os this phone is massive

The virtual qwerty keyboard on Wp7 is more accurate and correction is awesome.

Lumia also have microsoft office build in.

The Nokia n9 is a real Multi tasking phone open 30apps also no lag when wp7 4 or 5 apps beginning to show minor signs already.
The camera performance seems wp7 is much better than meego

The gps currently wp7 only works online but they announce future update there will be offline mode.

So overall my choice is Lumia 800

My battery ran out a few days ago whilst I was using the gps thingy - kaputt, 0, nichts, flat.  Went back to the hotel and found I could not charge it at all.  But when I got back home and connected it to my desktop  on the USB connection, it began charging.  Does this mean I must on no account let my battery run out if I want to charge it using the charger?

Is the car charger better than the charger that you plug in to an AC socket?  The point is I had that with me, but it wouldn't charge my phone.  I borrowed one from my brother and that wouldn't work either.

hmmm, I might just get one of those for the rare occasion when I drive out of town and want to use GPS navigation.  That drains the battery fast!

don't think you can change from 2G to 3G.

menu > settings > connectivity > Network > Network mode > choose dual mode / 3G or GSM. If u are using you might be able to change it.

Hi guys, just joined the bandwagon. bought a 2nd hand unit thru Mudah last nite.

Been deliberating to buy this N8 for so long but since my ol' 5800xm fits the same functions, i hesitated. However lately the digitiser on the 5800 goes bonkers from time to time especially when i need to use it. cost to change digitiser is only RM100 but i made that an excuse to get another phone. still i'll change the 5800 digitiser when i have the time. that phone's a keeper.

Anyway the N8 was on stock symbian3, so last nite i updated it to Anna and start using it today. Almost similar to the 5800 in all the functions i am using (opera, joikuspot, garmin, camera - i hardly tinker around) i'm still thinking should i upgrade to Belle or leave it as it is? after all i do intend to get the Pureview 808 when it comes out... hmmm...
