Nope currently none in Belle, as far as I know. As stated above, most of us install the Nokia battery monitor to find out.
*
For some unexplained reason, mine can't install battery monitor. Soft reset. Hard reset. All done but no use.

Dont have hahaha. I using it on my ipad 2.

Off topic. I understand you have a N9 and Lumia 800. May I ask which would you choose and why?

I needed something like Smart Office or Quickoffice but N9 don't have.

I wanted everything free GPS but Lumia 800 only free for Drive.

And which battery last longer doing the same stuff?

I choose Nokia lumia 800 over n9 because of the awesomeness of the social integration. I can link all the account of a specify user and access anytime even their photo gallery. I use whatsapp and wp7 have it. The email of the Wp7 works seamlessly no issue whatever.
So how much data do you use a month for the Lumia800?

Where got data sucker? I think Im one of those unlucky fella affected by the massive battery drain when using Whatsapp. Somehow Nokia blamed it on Whatsapp as usual. Not everyone is affected by the bug. I wonder if the situation is better with Belle.
*
Relating my experience with Belle. Did hard reset several times and I ended up with different amount of free phone memory ranging from 92MB to 125MB. After using for a while, the memory will go down to 78 or 105. Go figure rclxub.gif . But of course, I stop once I hit the jackpot 125/105.

So if you don't mind the work, try doing hard reset a couple of time and see how it goes. It becomes a piece of cake if you done it several times a day. You may or may not hit the jackpot like I did.

N9 is 135g. Lumia 800 running WP is 142g and they are basically the same phone running different OS.

The virtual qwerty keyboard on Wp7 is more accurate and correction is awesome.

Lumia also have microsoft office build in.

The Nokia n9 is a real Multi tasking phone open 30apps also no lag when wp7 4 or 5 apps beginning to show minor signs already.
The camera performance seems wp7 is much better than meego

Lumia 800

Nokia N9 PR1.1

Nokia N9 PR1.0

The gps currently wp7 only works online but they announce future update there will be offline mode.

So overall my choice is Lumia 800
*
By performance, do you mean the photo quality taken with Lumia 800 is better?

The N9 with Skype constantly on, does it affect battery life compared to 800?

anyone know how much does N8 battery costs? plan to buy 1 icon_question.gif

Was in a NCC recently and notice they are having good discount offer on all batteries. I would go there because at least they wouldn't sell fakes.

My battery ran out a few days ago whilst I was using the gps thingy - kaputt, 0, nichts, flat.  Went back to the hotel and found I could not charge it at all.  But when I got back home and connected it to my desktop  on the USB connection, it began charging.  Does this mean I must on no account let my battery run out if I want to charge it using the charger?

Get a cheapo RM10 car charger and your problem solved. I always have 1 in my car, just in case.

Er, I didn't drive to Guangzhou.

Is the car charger better than the charger that you plug in to an AC socket?  The point is I had that with me, but it wouldn't charge my phone.  I borrowed one from my brother and that wouldn't work either.
*
I have several of those cheapo car charger that you plug into the car cigarette lighter socket. They seem to work OK delivering enough current to both charge the phone plus GPS navigation at the same time.

hmmm, I might just get one of those for the rare occasion when I drive out of town and want to use GPS navigation.  That drains the battery fast!

To conserve battery power further, I normally switch it to 'night mode'.

Added on March 14, 2012, 8:35 amDoes anyone know how to delete the data in the calender? Where is the directory? I suspect my data is corrupted so wanted to delete it off before restoring from backup file.

Belle. The pull down menu. Sometime I press the Telco button and I can get to change 2G to 3G etc. Sometime can not. Why?

don't think you can change from 2G to 3G.
*
Sometime can but sometime can't. Hence my question.

menu > settings > connectivity > Network > Network mode > choose dual mode / 3G or GSM. If u are using you might be able to change it.
*
Yes that is the 3 or 4 step process.

But I find, from the pull down menu and touch on "mobile network", it will take me directly to where I can select 2G or 3G. That is only 2 step process. Unfortunately sometimes it work and sometimes it doesn't.

Hi guys, just joined the bandwagon. bought a 2nd hand unit thru Mudah last nite.

Been deliberating to buy this N8 for so long but since my ol' 5800xm fits the same functions, i hesitated. However lately the digitiser on the 5800 goes bonkers from time to time especially when i need to use it. cost to change digitiser is only RM100 but i made that an excuse to get another phone. still i'll change the 5800 digitiser when i have the time. that phone's a keeper.

Anyway the N8 was on stock symbian3, so last nite i updated it to Anna and start using it today. Almost similar to the 5800 in all the functions i am using (opera, joikuspot, garmin, camera - i hardly tinker around) i'm still thinking should i upgrade to Belle or leave it as it is? after all i do intend to get the Pureview 808 when it comes out... hmmm...
*
For me, Symbian3 to Anna was a huge upgrade and a must. But Anna to Belle not so much but I know others have different experience.

So mind asking how much did you bought your used N8 for?

RM650, no box, just phone

Good price, assuming it is in good condition and battery still ok.

No need of the box. Only need the phone plus charger plus cable to PC. The rest I never use and don't even know where I put it now.

ANy places to buy a new battery, my batter standby time cant exceed 24 hours!!!
Is that whatsapp problem?
*
May be you have it on 3G and email set to 'soonest' and other apps constantly going online? I reckon if those things off and you don't touch the phone, should use about 1 to 1.5% power per hour as according to Battery Monitor 2.2
