QUOTE(Violet Ling @ Nov 20 2011, 05:06 PM)
Summary for yest match:

1) Park was not effective...no PACE and lose out on Physical challenge...happening all the time, not juz yest match(i hope he will be offload like oshea and wes brown)
2) Lose on midfield battle
3) Nani and Rooney unable to discover early season form
4) Easily lose possession
5) But United players mostly all away on international duty for past weeks..tired out..where as Swansea players much more fresher and had ample of times to prepare. United had to keep player for mid week champs league match as well
6) Chicharito keep on offside(not just yest, but all the while)...waste of possession
7) United players prefer difficult pass to their teammate and add abit trick(eg back heel etc)..waste of possession...should play more simple
8) No PACE at all in yest game from United

In short, Swansea deserve something from yest match...for the 1st time this season i favour an opponent..even I am a hardcore United fan

Again, it's all due to the lack of a good central & creative central midfielder.

What else Chicharito can do besides score a tap in inside penalty box ? He can't dribble with pace like Torres, score a screamer like RVP, bullied defender like Drogba..... Well at least he consistenly score that kind of goal, more than 20 already since he came smile.gif

He is the best poacher after RVN, no complain about that

After city match, we got 3 clean sheet in a row, it is a good news icon_rolleyes.gif

yeah, a win is a win, no matter how's the performance, will only complain when performing similarly but lost the game....
how many more times the team are gonna missed those sitters for us to get away?
tell me honestly, any of you didn't let out frustrating sigh on every fail attempt to attack? who's on edge of their seat seeing Swansea bombard our defense end the whole match?
i don't expect goal galore from us every match, but please pass them around nicer and more effectively, the guys looked clueless when attacking atm (and again we're screwed when opponents put on pressure), hopefully things will pick up during the hectic period next month

just wait abit the glory will come soon.
remember the 2 years of frustration before ronaldo became godlike? brows.gif

really where does all this one-time poster came from?
agree that we were below par even before we get mauled at the hands of City but every club will hit a purple patch - and that's us at the moment
and as someone pointed out at least we are doing OK defensively - we only need the mdifielders and forwards to chip in more goals

Rooney capable to be a very good no9 (main striker). he proved it in 2009/2010. but today, if he play as no9, our creative play will greatly suffer.

IMO his best position are no10 (2ndary striker), man in the hole..

this season, SAF using Rooney more deeper, and occasionally play him as actual CM. largely because we lost CMs due to injury. even if he play as 2ndary striker, he goes deeper because we lack of CM with creativity. options available are Giggs (old, limited games), Cleverley (injured), Anderson (hit and miss)..

buying the top class seem the easiest solution (according to most fans, including me).. putting CM teenagers are way too risky..

tomorrow perhaps we'll see Rooney as CM. i guess SAF will be rest other CMs (Fletcher, Carrick, certainly Giggs) for Newcastle..

Rio to be sold or asked to be retire? Experience man, experience. As the gaffer said before, he only have to adapt to the current style right now. We just have to wait and see.

Just ytd I was reading rio's tweets where he is having a go at Liverpool fans who tweeted hate messages to him, and showing off the 19 when they showed him the 5.

Then I come here and read shit like this.
