QUOTE(dlct87 @ Dec 9 2011, 04:32 PM)
because if that shot didn't went in, the game is still 0-0 and we will qualify if it ended as a draw...so that's why i say GK has the most pressure among all starting members

but people forget, defending isn't the responsibility of the GK alone, its the responsibility of the WHOLE team

how many time had DDG/Lindegaard saved the team arses due to stupid mistakes from onfield players? they can't made the save ALL the time you see, you get enough shots on goal, some will inevitably goes in

Yea, and an argument could also be made that if the strikers were on target, then that goal would not have mattered. I guess we're just trying to make sense of why it happened.

So lets look ahead. I'm sure the boys and the gaffer have learnt their lesson from this. Maybe something will change during the transfer window.

one thing worth mentioning is the amount of $$ we will miss out from this elimination...uefa $ is one and another is tv rights

not good especially when the club is still in deep debt
wow..now that u've mentioned it. hope its not something they'll use to pressure SAF into retirement? cry.gif

i think hire back Queiroz might fix the defensive problem (if that's the issue the team is facing now), but i think there's far bigger ones now, they just doesn't looked right atm....

expected. now it is a summit task for United to win the league without Vida

But we done it before, with or without Vida ,United must rally and remain strong. Hopes Evans/Jones/Smalling will step up

It is a sad situation we really need to rely on Rooney's ability. & his goal drought not helping either sad.gif

Young,Nani,Tong V. and the rest need to contribute more goals & create more chances. Hoping Welbeck stay fit for the rest of season.

Sometimes , our wingers inconsistencies and return from injury are a bit frustrating

tough break.

United's defense was really good until Vidic took an arrow to the knee.

Did I read that correctly? Out for the SEASON? Fark. At first I misread it as out for the rest of the year so I thought okay lah. Then I read again... FOR THE SEASON?! Man, we really have no luck with injuries this season.

Here's wishing Vidic a speedy and smooth recovery.
