sgs2 battery life sucks?   

rooted d, now planning to flash a custom rom tonight, for the first time---

if i install it, does it matter on what version gingerbread im on? or doesnt matter and can just straight away flash customsROM with CWM? (i'm on 2.3.3 and KF1 BTW)

2/ currently gingerbread 2.3.5 cannot be rooted yet right?

normal sgs2. Previously using checkrom with speedmod.

But in SD i have delete the zip for the rom. Just delete this evening. thought can access the sd wihout full on.

Guys, I have the 9100G version and I want to install CWM. Can I just download it from the market?

yea wanted to root it , but the method to root a sgs2"G" now is requiring to flash it . Not fancying to wipe out things now . Probably wait for ice cream sandwich roots to be out and then do it then.

Ok. Done flashing siyah 1.8. After for a while it shits the device itself.

But how can i access the sd card within CWM? cause i need to put the zip into the sd card using cable

But how can i put the zip into the internal sd at the first place?    I dont have a card reader to put into the sd card. 

Or you are saying that i can access the internal SD by "Get into CWM and mount the sd. Plug in usb and your internal sd will be shown in your PC."

Ok. I have download siyah v2.1 beta14 and now in CWM.

just now i choose mount /sdcard then plug in cable. Nothing happen. Does not detect. 

Where did i went wrong now?

The scenario is
1. Download a theme using the kitchen pro (what i remember i install the orange theme forgot the name)
2. Install it
3. stuck at boot animation

I've already rooted it but the kernel doesn't come with CWM.
I saw a method to install CWM but it will definitely brick my phone and I want to try and avoid that in case I can't unbrick it.

wanna know if those speedmod kernel, can it be used on white ver? i believe that's the i9100G version.

Here's my screen shot of my battery life.
Left it idle whole night but still consumed 30% of my battery.

I believe Samsung will only release firmware update that can optimized Mali 400MP in January not the actual full fledge ICS upgrade :-)
Otherwise Samsung cannot launch SGS3 lor as everybody got ICS on their SGSII..:-P

Nahh., Samsung always release new firmware version on a new product first. After that only they release the upgrade to their older phones. I remember waiting like hell to get Froyo on SGS (that time still on Eclair). All the sudden Tab 7 release with the new shinning Froyo on it. Months later then SGS get Froyo upgrade :-(
Same cycle happen. All Samsung product sitting on Froyo (except Tab 10.1 on Honeycomb) then Samsung release new product SGSII with Gingerbread. Months later then other phones receive Gingerbread upgrade.
Gonna be the same shit again. SGS3 release with ICS on it then only other phones such as SGSII and Note etc will receive ICS.

agree, why cant battery technology improve as fast as processors and gpus?
