flashing with CE_XEN_KI2 (insecure kernel)

finally success with rooting

said ad i used since beta 5, i tried ALL beta 5,6,7,8,9,11,12,13 all during transition of go launcher using sphere transition effect will jerk, even a little bit i will notice, only beta 2/3 never jerks when transiting

I am using SiyahKernal 2.1 Beta 13. From 12:45am to 6:45am, battery drain 2% which is good to me. Last time on Dafault ROM, it drain 6~8% over 6~8 hours.

last time i travel very far also put airplane mode can last few days..sometime use wifi at airport only..i notice airplane mode disable bluetooth function as well.

how hot are we talking about? Try downloading Battery Solo Widget and put it on your homescreen. Tapping it will tell you the temperature

ok thx! theres a slight bit of choppiness when scrolling through homescreens, im still on touchwiz.

I'm noticing something weird about my battery temperature: On VR I rarely hit 40 degress Celsius but on other roms, i usually go high 30s and quite often over 40s

still have choppiness on savagedzen, similar to ondemand, i'll just be sticking to ondemand for now

i'm using a casing already,what i mean is the touch screen..

touch screen cant be helped le, you play game is it? i only felt unconfortable while playing high 3d games after some time, but once my thumbs get used to the heat, then i continue gaming xD
i shall consider adw, adw got nice nice transition effects ma? the bottom dock can scroll or not? you're using adw ex right?

TW4 isn't that bad for me

CWM backup can be found in /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup
It's better to copy the backup folder before you flash a ROM.

As for efs folder, I manually backup using Super Manager. Just copy the efs folder to your external_sd folder or somewhere else, then copy it to your pc/laptop.

For micro-SD card, I bought kingston 16GB class 4 with price of RM77, speed wise is not bad. I bought it without any research, then I found Kingston class 10 for RM80+ only

I am a gamer too, used up practically all me memory on gameloft games . Is there any way to transfer the data to the external microSD card?

Which means i have to root in and set to Superuser before i do Nandroid backup ??

I did some research on Android forum,they said version 2.3.5 has better battery life,however my S2 version is 2.3.3...

Can anyone guide me how to upgrade to 2.3.5?

bro u used any other tweaks besides the ones listed in the first page? i remember reading a tweak about adw launcher in xda that edits the build.prop but i cant find it back ad
yes, if you have the apk files you can use the Auto_Patch_APK_for_Samsung_by_Duero__include_Java_.exe to change most of the gameoft games to use the external_sd/Gl folder. there's a thread in xda, find it. you can move most games except a few new ones that just came out recently for the sgs2 like the dungeon hunter 2, nova 2, 9mm, backstab. if you can find older versions and got it to work, then you can use it in external. You use the patcher, patch the apk files, then you update the games with the patched apks, then it will start using sd data from external. As for other game's sd data, there's no choice. i using 32GB sandisk, class 4.

oh yea for the gameloft games, there's an APP in the market that can help you to run from external sd but i never try it before.

Im using non-G version,meaning that I cant upgrade the version?
