QUOTE(jitshiong @ Oct 29 2011, 08:33 AM) Hi guys, Now that we've identified the main culprit, I've stumbled upon the next one... Can anybody advise me how to kill it? Here's the screen shot [attachmentid=2508742] maps is eating up ur battery. did u exit maps properly? try disabling gps, as maps is abusing it and draining its battery.

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Oct 29 2011, 02:45 PM) iP4s suffering bad battery life: http://is.gd/fM6X8l"It's a feature, not a flaw" TM. "Dual core that's why". Woi, 10% drop IN standby PER HOUR is effin serious mang. I get 10% drop per 1/2 hour under HEAVY USE and even that's considered "unoptimised". Maybe someone should look into underclocking the proc. Oh wait, Apple already did that. Maybe they all should flash Siyah lolx. can use this link to talk back at similan. he's back from vacation and first thing he does: TROLL AGAIN

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Oct 29 2011, 03:17 PM) Just spoiler it lol. Anyhow, I should try making my own ROM in the Kitchen and call it "Itik Comel Sungguh" (ICS) lol. That said, I still WANT ICS ASAP, even if for just the USB Audio out bits (USB DAC/Amp yum), the GUI HW acceleration and the much improved multitasking. The GalNex specs are not good enough to consider upgrading to though (it's more like a side-grade), so hopefully the Itu Canggih Sangat update comes quick2 to our SGS2, official or otherwise. haha! like those names u brought up for ics. another ics term could be: i cook soup

QUOTE(mH3nG @ Oct 29 2011, 04:58 PM) Guys, my I9100G can't even last a whole day without being charged. I just have whatsapp, and viber and the occasional facebook update. and the best part is that I've already installed juice defender and limited the processor to 800. Is it normal? Do a few battery charge cycles, you'll see improvements.

Thinking of purchasing a 8gb microsd card. Class 4 should be enough for storing cwm backups, titanium backups,720p video recording and playback right?

QUOTE(ashwin1234 @ Oct 29 2011, 05:59 PM) Well, each CWM backup for me is 1.5GB...each TB backup is 0.7GB. Each 720p movie is from 0.5-0.9GB . So yeah, it will be more than enough for you media provided you don't fill it up with 4 or 5 CWM backups. As for video recording to a class 4 card, I am not too sure about that. Might not be fast enough to handle full HD. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I myself use my built in memory to record. Ok got it thx for the reply

Yeah, just copy to the sdcard. dont put it in any folders. Go into cwm,and follow benny's instructions make sure u backup ur apps,as flashing checkrom will wipe ur apps and user settings.

QUOTE(SeaMonster @ Oct 30 2011, 06:43 PM) yes, titanium backup file U dont need to copy it out actually. If u wanna be extra extra safe, can copy the file to pc,if case something bad happens. after backup, the chances of the backup corrupt is slim. Not sure what u mean by flash,if u mean flash rom, then can do my above steps. if u wanna restore the apps from the backups, then no need to copy This post has been edited by TheLaptopDudeGuy: Oct 30 2011, 07:06 PM
