the criss crossing Bale and Defoe run happened in the Reading game as well when Defoe scored. it is a simple design to draw one defender away from the other.

i remember that ...

the old defoe i know would have stuck with the last man and wait for the offside to be given

Adebayor is good at drawing defenders away

Defoe had to adapt

finish the match drawing 1-1.
sloppy performance where panathinaikos dominates the possession and the equaliser that could have been prevented.
maybe too tired as AVB using mainly the same player from previous ManU game.
hoping for a clean sheet though...

Dawson scores at one end and then in the 2nd half, let's a striker get the better of him for the equalizer.

perhaps that's why he was to be sold off at one point.

anyways, no injuries to key players that's good.

they've gotta be awfully tired tho ... that's the problem with europa ...

a tale of 2 halves again but this time it was a boring 1st and a great 2nd! we were more lively and had several excellent chances in the 2nd.

Brad looked like the ultimate pro and was shown smiling and laughing on the bench.

Cant wait for international break over..come on chelski
