save petrol = human foot matters, not car punya "foot".

Yes.. Agreed... Ur FC is a direct reflection on the way u drive.. the higher ur FC, means something is wrong somewhere with the way u drive.. U might not be able to notice it, sometimes when u're cruising at different speeds it will give u a significant difference..

Quite satisfied with the performance in wet & dry conditions, very quiet too, I travel alot so really can notice the noise difference from the old Conti CC1. Michelin claims got save in petrol but I think like no diff when change last time.  laugh.gif
*
Really? More quite than CC1? Nice.. I'm really looking foward for the XM2.. CC1 road noise I consider it as quite ok already, but if have much more quite tyre, I'll go for it..

Yup.. Agreed with that also.. That's why I asked.. Is it true that the tyre can save petrol wan.. It is just malicious claim only..
Xan, I rarely drive fast at highway.. Most of the time 110-120.. Only a few times only go to 140 just for the sake of overtaking.. The main purpose is to get low FC..

It is more economical for u to drive at 120-125kmh than at 110 or 130kmh.. Try it.. laugh.gif

Both bitumen layer AND soundproof.. Bitumen outside, soundproof from the inside under the carpet around the wheel well..

Ok, I'll try it tomorrow on my way back to jb.. At 120, the rpm will be slightly above 3k..

Too bad that for PE batch 2011, doesn't have that bitumen coating underneath the car..

Or if u have budget problems, try Falken Ziex ZE912.. Underrated tyres.. They provide good grip in the wet & dry likewise.. And very comfortable too..

*
If you gonna use ZE912, I would suggest Hankook V12 instead. For me, having tried both ZE912 and V12, I would say V12 beats 912 at almost ALL aspect. Used to be similarly priced. Not sure abt it nowadays since tyres prices rise like nobody's business.

Weakness of V12 is the road noise but 912 seems to produce equally bad road noise once you wear it down a bit. Cornering grip, hydroplanning min. and "yeng" looks (uni-directional gives EXCELLENT wet weather drive) all seems to favor V12 over 912. I'm still using V12 for my City now. A bit soft sidewall tho thus have to pump a couple PSI more than usual but comfortable and absorb bumps quite well.

V12 mentioned a tech that eliminate/minimize uneven wear. Seems to work on my City coz always front tyres got uneven wear. Since using V12 for a couple of years, totally ZERO uneven wear on all my tyres.

Wait a minute....mmm...I don't think V12 has 60 height tyres....since my City is using 195/55/R15.
