QUOTE(xandras @ Oct 19 2011, 05:56 PM) Can get power if u want. Proton's engine not that bad actually. It's just that they tend to screw up something somewhere during the process of deciding parts to use for the car. Instead of a plastic manifold for the IAFM, they could've gone alloy, but no. And the auto gearbox is robbing 30+% of the engine's full potential. They could've chosen a better gearbox rite? It's all about profit making. Ask him to install bolt-on turbo, then go and compare with it again..

I always wanted to join the gym here in JB.. But I don't like those regulars who always conquer the bench.. Stoopeed.. Summore like to bang hard the barbell & evverything.. For private gym, only have clark hatch, not so worth it compared with the facilities the provide.. So, in the evening, I just join my colleague to play volleyball only.. Not enough sweat produced..

QUOTE(jaans13 @ Oct 20 2011, 03:52 PM) Hi All - Not to spam the forum..but I have a question..guess this applies to the H-line'rs..Do you notice a sound from your wheels, when braking. I have noticed this sound in my car especially when braking soft. I checked with the SC and they say its normal...Don't know if this is true with disc brakes or if it is a case that the SC doesn't know what to do. Your advise is greatly appreciated. i dont think the sounds is that noticeable.. unless ur switching ur a/c blower at the slowest speed without switching on the audio.. then only can hear that sound.. its the pad sounds scratching the rotor..

QUOTE(jaans13 @ Oct 20 2011, 04:10 PM) Thanks for your advise bro..But in my case its quite audible. change the brakepad to a better one.. Zeng has RS brake pad.. better grip, less dust.. or u can go for bendix.. but if u change the pad to an aftermarket one, no more warranty for the rotor i guess.. but hey, the rotor is not that expensive, rm70+ a piece..

QUOTE(victor87 @ Oct 20 2011, 05:03 PM) eh, since you guys talking about the brake pads. My H Line stock brake pad very noisy, especially slowing down. Everyone was looking at me whenever i brake.. #$%^&*( Macam mana? if it become audible for others might be the clip there rubbing with the rotor already..

QUOTE(Norse @ Oct 23 2011, 12:14 AM) I'm currently using Michelin Energy XM1, thinking of changing to C-drive when they're worn out, which one is better ? How's the XM1 performs? Saw the sticker on top of XM2 tire. It says can save petrol.. Is it?

QUOTE(Norse @ Oct 23 2011, 12:34 AM) Quite satisfied with the performance in wet & dry conditions, very quiet too, I travel alot so really can notice the noise difference from the old Conti CC1. Michelin claims got save in petrol but I think like no diff when change last time. Really? More quite than CC1? Nice.. I'm really looking foward for the XM2.. CC1 road noise I consider it as quite ok already, but if have much more quite tyre, I'll go for it..

QUOTE(xandras @ Oct 23 2011, 12:41 AM) Yes.. Agreed... Ur FC is a direct reflection on the way u drive.. the higher ur FC, means something is wrong somewhere with the way u drive.. U might not be able to notice it, sometimes when u're cruising at different speeds it will give u a significant difference.. Yup.. Agreed with that also.. That's why I asked.. Is it true that the tyre can save petrol wan.. It is just malicious claim only.. Xan, I rarely drive fast at highway.. Most of the time 110-120.. Only a few times only go to 140 just for the sake of overtaking.. The main purpose is to get low FC.. Added on October 23, 2011, 1:10 amQUOTE(xandras @ Oct 23 2011, 01:05 AM) Better go soundproof ur wheel wells.. poison king no.1 U mean on the front fender? Or to apply tar coating? QUOTE(xandras @ Oct 23 2011, 01:16 AM) It is more economical for u to drive at 120-125kmh than at 110 or 130kmh.. Try it.. Both bitumen layer AND soundproof.. Bitumen outside, soundproof from the inside under the carpet around the wheel well.. Ok, I'll try it tomorrow on my way back to jb.. At 120, the rpm will be slightly above 3k.. Too bad that for PE batch 2011, doesn't have that bitumen coating underneath the car..

QUOTE(xandras @ Oct 23 2011, 11:06 AM) Manual/Auto? U sure 285KMs? That'll translate to about 5.7L/100KMs.. Stock standard.. It is because of the constant driving speed.. Oh ya, last time after my 1st service, I use magnetec, pumped caltex, locked my auto cruise at 80kmh.. RM29.20..

Tips? Accelerate slowly to ~115, push auto cruise on, push Auto cruise pedal downwards, when the green lights is on, let go the fuel pedal, and enjoy the ride.. To make it more enjoying, every let say around 70 to 80 km, light 1 cigarette.. Haha
