QUOTE(jackyap84 @ Oct 21 2011, 11:57 PM) Our car got 4 cylinders but control by 1 TB. xan suggest you to mod 4 TBs for each cylinder to boost the performance. With 4 TBs you need bigger air intake module or CAI to let more air in. but this will cost you a lot money and your car FC sure sky high. But you gain more HP. Not worth la to mod 4 TB. some more need to change manifold if you wanna mod 4 TBs. If you just wanna change to bigger TB than the current one. Then better save your money cos the effect is not much. you gain a bit pickup but high FC also. |

QUOTE(ngeo88 @ Oct 22 2011, 06:48 PM) This morning make a last minute decision to do 15k(mile age 18k) service car at one of the authorise SC at puchong, Trisilco Auto Service Sdn. Bhd. when arrive there are only i PE puoring engine oil, and i just walk in the SA ask me got appointment or no, i sad tarak, he said next time must make appointment and this is the proton procedure,......but that time no car he still wellcome me lah, use synthium 800 10w-40 @ rm103. wow sound that sc very good. Two of the mechanic looks like new but still got 1 senior and the supervisor guided them service my car and teach them step by step, including how to jack up my car, one of the good thing at the SC was you can sit infront of your car watching the service job, so total 4 mechinic serve my PE service job The one of the junior found my car got white colour thing came out and ask the senior " apa ni " he said "itu foam lah ...lepas inject kereta senyap, aku punya wira pun ada buat" btw found that original PE head lamp price rm307.37 per side only [attachmentid=2498611] also see one new PE base line now using Silverstone tyer [attachmentid=2498615] the front door rubber to prevent hitting others car when open also become different aldy, now square insted of round, for back door not provided. QUOTE(xandras @ Oct 24 2011, 12:30 AM) WTF i stunned. QUOTE(jasondotcom @ Oct 24 2011, 02:29 PM) how to mod the boot gas strut in a way that it will allow shutting of the boot lid nicely rather than slamming shut????? i have handled cars with boot lid struts and bigger sized boot lids and it does not SLAMMMMMMM like how Persona's do. i am also finding this stuffs. my friend who dono keep slamming. QUOTE(jasondotcom @ Oct 24 2011, 02:34 PM) and btw, to those who do mods to their Persona engine like exhaust or especially air intake to aftermarket, please be advised to "refresh" / "reset" your ECU by unplugging the battery and leave it disconnected for half an hour or more and plug it back in. i din reset oh. How? I din know that and i am using 16bit ecu. So if i reset now still ok ar? I mod exhaust for > 4 months d. i myself first hand experienced it this month. I replaced the intake to aftermarket panel filter by Simota / Works Engineering and i did not really felt the difference. Soon, my car got more and more less responsive, less power and the automatic gearbox got very sluggish. My fuel consumption got from bad to worst. I then wondered what happened to it and tried to think of the possible causes. I then figured, ok try "reset" the ecu by unplugging the battery terminal. Plugged it back more than an hour later, guess what? I got my car back! Now, i can just "tap" on the throttle to get moving and the car is light again. I got back the all the performance. So........lesson learn! Added on October 24, 2011, 1:37 pm yup. it does not need to be slammed. I am referring to as in you cannot close the boot lid without assisting it. meaning when its close to closing, need to hold it a bit and let go. Or else it will go banggggg! Kinda suck if compared to other exact design boot lid with gas struts. Other makes i can just continue pushing the lid down from start to finish and it wont slam. QUOTE(xandras @ Oct 24 2011, 02:43 PM) Change the hydraulic suspenders.. And add a stopper.. WHAT will happened? The ECU reset part is normal. Esp. if u mod extractor. U have to do it, & u have to clear the error codes. But most ppl Jz tend to ignore it until something happens. btw guys did you all know this things? Honda City 1996 got installed. This is to prevent your brake to jam lock if you floor your brake. ![]() |

QUOTE(xandras @ Oct 24 2011, 08:13 PM) damn stupid the driver. and heartless. QUOTE(ngeo88 @ Oct 24 2011, 08:20 PM) i tough is boy? From news.QUOTE(zapdos9 @ Oct 24 2011, 09:10 PM) More also will become worse because coolant is used to lube, higher boiling point and lower freezing point. water is there for the high rate of heat transferred which is around 4.2kJ to raise 1c per kg. Just like if u use pure coolant, your engine will have hard time transferring heat to radiator, pure water will cause inner corrosion and maybe long time, pump damage. Its best to follow the coolant spec which usually in every bottle they got state how many ratio of coolant:water needed to ensure cooling system efficiency. wow coolant man Added on October 24, 2011, 8:11 pm Argh.. sakit.. See the timing la. I okay wan geh. QUOTE(advocado @ Oct 24 2011, 09:21 PM) How often you guys change the wiper? Do you change the rubber whole the whole wiper? Got any good brand to recommend? And what size? stock wiper? last change is when? mostly if vibrate then is wiper problem. change to boneless one. Mr DIY sell one for RM7.8. a bit vibrate la but not a big issue. My wiper don't know what problem, everytime i try to spray water to clean the dust the wiper will wipe 1st before water spray, so during dry wipe the whole glass & wiper vibrate until my windscreen got several wiper scratches... Is it the rubber distorted or the wiper is mounted too tight to the glass? How to solve this? |
