Haha... Nobody copies proton. Why would they... The civic launched in other countries long before preve.. But anyway, back to main topic, Mazda 3 fc quite high in my opinion. About 60% town and 40% highway I can go about 330km before the light lights up.
Anyway... Mazda is a fun car! Handling is good.. Handsome and attractive with power and good grips. It's definitely not a family car with small interior.
Thanks Bro for replied!
How I measured FC, example I pump full tank & I press meter to 000.0
after that, 2-3 days later, I pump full tank
Example 100km & topup is RM14.80, mean 14.8km
I friend bought Pug 408 TC, he said average per km is 15 cents
Another friend from Singapore said, previously M3 was popular there untill Singaporean can't accept high FC
I am scared aft GE-13, petrol ll up RM0.30/L
Back to the main issue
I am looking for C segment, thinking to get current Civic 1.8L (RM119k), the model is nice, sporty, low maintenance, low FC & high resell value, but expired (since 2005-2012). Coming model (front Preve, Back Persona).
OK fine, If I wish to get M3, say driving from my house to town (15km), after that stuck in trafic (10km). Sometimes I ll go out station (once in the blue moon, average once a month "50km").
I heard Altis 1.6 under power, some said M3 (1.6) can produce 2.0 power, true?
I am thinking to pay deposit, but I need u guy to advised 1.6 or 2.0, I am affordable to buy any range (1.6 or 2.0) because CIMB around the corner (Bapak Along is there for loan & 9 years some more), but if 1.6 is enough power, Y Pay More, as road tax also high RM380.
Another thing is, I read about K&N filter, 1 of the filter is flat, put inside & the other one is like Honey Comb. It is stated increase 16HP.
Can I say 1.6cc is enough & do some modification to increase power, can saved RM20K & Road Tax (RM380-90=270)
Pls share your knowledge with me
Many Thanks

M3, CBU RM138K but CKD RM124K,
RM14K diffrence because is tax structure & yet price still consider high
Again when I checked spec for M3 CKD, Bermaz add on some accesories which I don;t think is high value in cost but I noticed that 2 safety features being removed, they are:
i ) VTC (Vehicle Trection Control)
ii) VSC (Vehicle Stabilizer Control)
I am sad & dissapointed, Why Bermaz removed that 2 important safety features
Price reduce bcoz of Tax for CKD, understood but some hidden features being removed silently
Any idea on how much to install that 2 features above?
