I agreed with the 1 saying by having a third party (safe trader or some trustable in LYN) to help those outstation buyers to COD.

Of coz it might be troublesome and the buyer need to pay some extra charge to the third party but rather safe than sorry.

Just my 2 cent.

this kind of situation always happens

actually i myself also kena a few times ( the reader who did this should know what i meant) by selfish ppl who got a better offer than the one that we agreed to

i cant blame them also cause everyone also want to hav a better deal, rite.

BUT it all depends on the person that we deal wif. That is why i always stress to ask the seller to put a "RESERVED for {the buyer} or some dude"

It all comes down to how sincere the seller is cause we as buyer also face the risk of being ffk by the seller, Likewise the seller also can face the same fate.

fren i am still in "service"
jus waiting for more response
i shall say that you will be one of those that i will recommend to mod to be a star dealer

a word of advice for those of you out there. you should emulate viking2k to list out your contacts like tel no. and email addy, msn or icq in your sig. so that ppl can know that you are a serious dealer and not 'fei kei yau' ( ffk'er)

thumbs up to viking thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

actually we can know how "good" or "bad" the trader is by his presentation......

for eg: if he jus joined that means you got to be a bit careful... not that he maybe a newbie but he could also be wanting to trade but not in his real identity, so he jus sign in as a newbie to avoid god knows wat.
secondlly look in his posting wheather he put all his contacts like email, contact no. and so on....... I noticed some ppl put all his contacts in his sig. normally this is a serious trader eg Viking2k and weileongz thumbup.gif
thirdly if he is a safe trader , lagi best lah........

I personally feel trade rating better like the one which in forum of zerotohundred.com ... first of all can see how many rating from other forummer, secondly can see how trustable from other forumer by look at how much of the no. of trading is (the more the famous, the trustable), n rated by which trustable buyer, o seller, o moderator, thirdly can see whats the con n pro of the seller/buyer by giving them a comment....

IMHO, not all user/forummer would actually look at the successful trading thread n look for the particular seller for successful list...like me, when im first join here, i dun even know there's such thread exists until i saw someone put it in their sig...it's rather inconvenience... n

recently i bank in to a forummer here which at first claim he has the stock for the item, then after i bank in n all...he told me out of stock....then tell me will restock, then i say i wan take back the money, he say okok...then now pm no more news d....feel kinda unsafe anymore...coz it's my first time feeling unsafe trading online, somemore this is me who telling my fren about it, n my fren interested on it n bank in ... sweat.gif

In any case you feel that you were cheated or mis - lead, please kindly create a topic at the dispute corner ... If the accused party does not turn up for an explanation, he may be listed on the blacklist ...

At least, we can reduce the numbers of fraudulent activities here in LYN smile.gif

i think those ppl who no action talk only should be suspended and banned if occur many times..and yes, third party or mods to supervise every trade and give advice.

and it should be mandatory to state reason of buying and selling
