Anyone here care to list out the proper stock rom?Just in case anyone of here needs to revert back to stock for warranty urgently.
Like the previous member said, once you flashed the wrong stock your gone.

Btw,should I go for Revolution Hd,Insertcoin or Leedroid?Im just looking for a 1.5Ghz and beats audio enhanced rom, others doesnt matter.Of course should not be too many bugs

Will you guys feel like the battery draining with 1.5 clock speed?
*
if you're adventurous enough, you can try each and every rom to see which one suits you the most. known bugs/issues are normally being highlighted or discussed in each thread since it is still under development and fine tuning now.

i personally tried insertcoin sense 3.5 rom, nothing fancy but pure performance and smoothness, good battery life too. now back to leedroid's initial release of sense 3.5 rom, it is stable but not as smooth as insertcoin. battery life i would say even 1st charge cycle it is matching insertcoin. i am running with stock 1.18mhz (stock kernel) for both insertcoin and leedroid, not really into overclocking since the stock cpu setting perform good enough.

After I flah the bricked kernel1.5 seems like the battery drain getting worst..shud I lower the CPU frequency orwad else can I do
*
i flashed bricked kernel 1.5 and camfix and running for a day, no significant battery drain as compare to stock kernel. yet to calibrate the battery. you may try to calibrate the battery and see how is the battery performing.

the rom is running smoother and allows overclocking. i'm currently running at 1.18ghz still cos personally think that is best setting for best performance and battery life.

Thanks for the reply mate! if i ever run into the low memory problem....im gonna switch over to windows or meego!!
*
low memory as in RAM or user memory for application installation? i assume you've done your study before hopping onto android OS but care to share why are you so skeptical over the memory issue till considering switching over to windows or meego?

correct me if i am wrong, the way android handling RAM is different with other OS. i'm currently running on custom rom and kernel, at times when i am browsing or multi tasking, the available free RAM shown is around 60-80mb and i dont feel any lag or in-responsiveness as comparing to 120-130mb free RAM available with no application is running during normal time. smile.gif

QUOTE(E71s @ Nov 7 2011, 07:46 PM)
I read up some articles stating that our processors are running on asynchronous processor,is that true?If so is Sensation is the only phone that runs on this type of processor in the mobile market aside Evo 3d?
I just tried underclocked my phone to minimum 0.12Ghz and maximum 0.3Ghz and the UI still smooth ,of course not so smooth compared to normal clock speed, something like my old Milestone perhaps. But when it comes to gaming (Angry Bird Seasons) I noticed the performance is far better than the milestone,is that because the other processor is running due to increased workload? In other words,I have not fully underclock the phone?

On the other hand,I tried my friend's Galaxy S2,when I underclock it to 0.3Ghz the phone is almost freezing, freeze in Launcher pro and almost everything.Even when I scroll the menu it freezes,so does that means that both cpu were clocked in this case?
*
Sensation dual core processors are not running parallel at all time. Cpu0 is running as default and cpu1 will kicks in when the load hits the treshold. There is script available for forcing the second core running all the time but users feedbacks are not so significant improve of performance.

faux's kernel v.2.4.r seems promising, enhanced smoothness (running with 1.56ghz version @ 1.18ghz, undervolt -25mv, intellidemand governor).

now running arhd.. nice..  rclxms.gif
but thinking of changing to insertcoin.. coz arhd battery life same with stock..  hmm.gif
*
Insertcoin is definitely worth a try, stable, fast, smooth and good battery life. It is pure performance optimisation where rcmix is performance n of cos, the handy rctweaks

where to download this?
*
at xda developers forum, faux's thread. btw the download link for latest kernel is being removed by faux due to moderator from xda query his compliance for source code sharing of few latest kernels.

if you seriously wants to try, pm me your email address.

Hi, Im new user for andriod phone and i've bought the phone & signed contract with Maxis. By the way, how to check the usage of data plan in the phone. I cant find any information inside there.
*
you may install traffic monitoring app from the market. i used to monitor mine using 3g watchdog. now i dont even bother i'm switching between rom's quite frequently and with unlimited data package.. so..

back = exit. btw i tried mine (leedroid v.4.0 faux kernel v.2.4r) for few times by pressing home and back also no issue.

did you flash camfix after you flashed bricked kernel? you're running with stock cam or amaze cam?

i'm running amaze..i did flash camfix..but still hang once i exits if i get lucky it won hang..how to go b to stock camera?
*
i wonder if you backup your rom before you flash amaze camera mod? leedroid v.4.0 is stock camera. i havent see any stock camera flashable file floating around, perhaps you can try to search in xda forum. otherwise, worse case just re-flash leedroid v.4.0

QUOTE(SyafiqSazzuann @ Nov 10 2011, 09:27 PM)
guys.. camera mod got any difference..?? currently using arhd.. saw extra mod.. camera mod.. wonder if there is any difference..  biggrin.gif
*
there is amaze cam that you can flash on top of your stock camera. personally i prefer stock camera which has better quality as compared to amaze. moreover, only stock kernel supports amaze camera for the time being. i would rather give up amaza camera for a custom kernel. smile.gif

hahaa.. really..?? thanks for ur opinion..  biggrin.gif
teh_master.. are u running on leedroid supersensational..?? is it stable..?? battery life..?? performance..?? hmm.gif
*
yup, running with leedroid v.4.0 with faux kernel v.2.4r. no reboot no black screen no bootloop ever since 1st Nov. it is 1st release of leedroid based on android 2.3.5 and sense 3.5, stability is there but yet to be optimised for performance. battery life cant really tell cos i've been trying few version of kernels, and system tweaks (cpu speed and undervolt). one full charge basically lasts me 18-20 hrs depends on my usage.

you may wants to try insertcoin, no eye candy but pure smoothness and optimisation, good battery life too. rclxms.gif

Try it then you will know whether it live up to your expectation or not. Each individual preference is different mate. =)

guys if i'm on bricked kernel 1.5..can i jus flash back to faux kernel from recovery? did i need to backup?
*
yes you can. it is advisable to flash first time kernel by faux prior to any of his kernel. if you flash different kernel on evaluation purpose, please backup. in case if the result isnt up to your expectation, you can just restore.
