Slight reporting:-

Leedroid Supersensational 5.0.1 ICS
RUU by Mike86
Kernel the latest one in xda (can't oc or uv though)
system tuner pro, force both cpu online, sd read ahead changed to 2048kb
so with the above settings, ROM seems pretty functional, didn't have any crashes or FC's not reported by other users, and action burst in camera actually works lol.

Next would be testing all my user apps first to check on the compatibility, but there didnt seem to be any issue while restoring with titanium backup pro, with migrate system data on etc, but will open one by one to make sure, ill have a list ready so you all know what apps are compatible and what are not (at least the ones that i have though)
*
all hail the rom tester. rclxms.gif updated the firmware as well. brows.gif

btw, try to have a clean install of apps to test it out. restore via titanium backup seems messing the system and tends to have permission error.

wah i tidak sanggup owh redownload all my apps, it's going to take a looooong time, hahaha. For permission problems after restoring all your apps go back to recovery wipe cache and dalvik and fix permission, should settle most of the problems, or just go to the problematic applications and clear data.

Had a reboot while doing Bluetooth transfer for the first time, didnt happen after that though so dunno what's wrong.

unfortunately chainfire3d still doesnt work if there's any sense widgets around and sense goes into a force close-restart loop

force gpu rendering....hmm, its not working great as its causing graphic glitches in some of my apps, so for now its off. Read in XDA that the problems are most probably app issue than the feature itself - apps don't have support for it yet.
*
i bet you have a long list of apps. lol. i see good review on the latest sensation xe kernel for ics, but i am still sticking to gb now until next release of leedroid to see if it is stable to be a daily driver.

Hey teh..how do u flash the firmware? I don really get the step like 1. Check your CID using fastboot getvar cid and MID using fastboot getvar mid..
One more thing after I do a nandroid backup will it restore my apps as well
*
well, since i am still having gingerbread as my daily driver, i dont bother updating my firmware to suit ice cream sandwich unless i am final and moving to ice cream sandwich. this is individual preference, of cos.

to answer your question, "fastboot getvar cid" if i am not wrong, that is adb command. you need to connect your phone to pc and run the adb command to get the result.

azel has already updated his firmware, for more details you may wants to consult him. not that i am not willing to help, but i havent study it yet, so dont want to brick your lovely sensation blush.gif

@kukulong10: i am trying step 1, but it stuck <waiting for device> after i key in fastboot getvar cid and fastboot getvar mid. i've check my device is connected via adb.

i tried leedroid ics with xe kernel, it is ultra smooth. i remove and reinstall all the applications, so far none of them fc / restart. only smart app protector is giving me problem, that i have to manually enable it upon reboot. exchange mail works fine, camera works fine, dialer works fine, so for me it is pretty stable as daily driver. i am having problem with music player detecting my songs anyway.

--EDIT--
overlooked one of your question earlier, ya nandroid backup covers everything of your phone. your app + user data.

How bout other senseless rom..izit everything working?
*
i tried virtuous 1.3.0, pretty early release which is great in performance. stable too. i saw them releasing 1.4.2 today, might worth trying.

i re-install htc driver but still, stuck at <waiting for device>. sourcing for solution now.

--EDIT--
solution:
1. boot into bootloader (volume down + power button) or connect phone to pc via usb, in adb type : adb reboot-bootloader
2. you're now in bootloader
3. type fastboot getvar cid, you'll see cid:HTC_044 (my case)
4. type fastboot getvar mid, you'll see mid: PG5813000 (my case)

the only good news for us is that official RUU is available for better custom roms instead of the leaked test rom as base.

lol, that's the second question that i wanna ask you.

btw, you need not to supercid your phone to update the firmware. just check your cid number, update the "android-info.txt" file in PG58IMG.zip will does the job too.

happy ICS dude! =)

any1 tried Insercoin 4.0.7? planning to change but dunno how...any1 care to provide the service?
>.<''
*
1st, you need to s-off, root and superCID. instructions are here
2nd, you need to update the latest firmware. you can get the firmware from the 4th post here
3rd, then flash your preferred ICS rom.

make sure you understand each steps above before you do anything to your phone, you stand a chance to brick your phone if unsure. so ask and be sure prior any further actions. cheers.

haha..i see..i try on 3g whole day but my battery life will finish within 12 hours with minimal of usage..
without 3g on the battery life i can say is awesome thx to lee  notworthy.gif

try to zoom in further when comes to mobile network. i am currently running on gsm mode only as my mobile network kicks in when i am on the go (manually switch to WCDMA only when i requires mobile network to be activated). it saves a lot of battery without scanning GSM / WCDMA networks (got to admit that i am using yellowman, coverage is kinda fluctuate depending at areas)

in my personal opinion, network stability somehow is playing a role in affecting battery life.

can anyone pm me the way how to install ICS from leedroid? abit confuse with the "install XE firmware from mike" ><

is there any differences from arHD ICS and leedroid ICS? any sensavian used both and mind give their comments? biggrin.gif
*
so far lee's ICS is based on 4.0.1, where lee ever mentioned it isnt mandatory to update the firmware.

where as other ICS which is based on 4.0.3, you must update the firmware prior flashing the rom, or else it wont boot.

1st you got to superCID, then place the firmware file (PG58IMG) and update via hboot.

2nd you're good to flash the rom

p/s: if you dont want to superCID your phone, you can check your CID and MID, update the .txt file in the firmware file and update via hboot.
