Just bought my new MBA 13" with full of expectation and excitement, but end up is a disappointment. I get the mac from the reseller, with 10.7.2 lion update, when i get back to home, i found that my wireless network is not accessible, with "connection timeout" error. The mac is the only device which is not accessible to the network, other PC and even iphone work perfectly.

Call up the reseller, reseller mention that the mac is always having problem with WEP security key. I end up changing my router to better one with WPA or WPA2 security key support. the result, it fail too. and it is the only device that not accessible to the wireless network. I am not sure on what is happening with my mac, it is still a clean one. I have spend half day fixing this, hope will get a solution on this as soon as possible. Any one of you guys experience this before ?

After change to a new router and play around with the setting, this issue finally solve. my MBA can link to my wireless network finally.

There are no recall for this issues yet. But you can try calling AppleCare and see if they willing to help you. Else you will have to replace the hinges. Do not bothered asking Apple on the repair cost as they will only replace the complete display module, which will cost you a lot more than the hinges.

Did you put on hard casing around your MacBook Pro? Which year's model is it? I presume it should be 15/17-inch?

I got problem with my time machine..
When I bought external hard disk, I did first backup time machine then I unable to backup anymore because of some error..
Just now I try format the external hard disk and use back time machine still I get error

u compare air with mbp 15 or 13? if mbp 13..not much different performance with mb air..mb air boot up more faster than mbp..

@KKW it says your backup is 454 GB but your HDD is less than 450 ... so how to backup la?
