GAIA got better UI, imho. because it is based on CM7 after all. so it is a significant improvement on UI
in term of fluidity, i think it is pretty much the same as sky revolution or maybe a little bit faster.
it depend on the number of apps u have on ur phone actually.
the best way is to try GAIA urself, then u can decide which one suitable for u more.

can flash straightaway to GAIA & wipe data, cache & dalvik cache after that.
for the kernel, the best for me now is #eav6 kernel (that is bcos superAOSP wont work well on my phone)

if u it want to cover the whole screen, try iPhone 4 sp,
but need to cut here and there to make it cover the whole screen.

Hmm, Isn't there a CSL official sp for mi300? I bought it the first thing I did when purchasing the phone last month

ARMv6 and ARMv6 VFP are indeed the same, but, VFP means that the CPU have an FPU, or Floating Point Unit.

ARMv6 VFP by far are not proven to be faster then the original ARMv6 compatible CPU, but have more compatibility support in terms of media and application extension requirement. Meaning that some apps might not be able to start in original ARMv6, when ARMv6 VFP can run that particular app just fine.

Lucky for us Mi300 is indeed powered by ARMv6 VFP CPU (Qualcomm msm 7x27 SURF).

New tips, to check/confirm cpu properties, just go to the Terminal Emulator in your phone. And enter the following.

cat /proc/cpuinfo

walla, it should tell your CPU properties, under features: there should be listed supported extensions of the current CPU you're using, VFP should be listed there as well.

1. download kernel, make sure it is in .zip format.
2. put the kernel.zip on the root of ur sd card.
3. boot into recovery mode & choose install from zip,
4. find the kernel.zip file & install.
5. reboot.

Still using cm7.1 stable. Performance is ok quadrant benchmark can get 957. But battery life is bad. Using sun global battery can only get 25 hours of life.

flash to any 2.1 rom first,
then proceed with phantom rom

flashed to GAIA
