thank you for the info. if for long investment, which PRS we recommend?
*
Just started, and I anyhow picked CIMB AAXJ class C.

If you don't need to touch the money for decades, go for high risk high volatility one.

My beef with the funds is that their expense ratio (management fee in the fund sheets) is pretty high at 1.5% p.a. I am currently using StashAway (0.8% p.a.) and their underlying ETFs all < 1%.

Er you do know ETF investing is always cheaper right? That's why you must buy a fund which can beat the ETF consistently.

K lah for the RM1000 bonus (hopefully it's real) I won't complain that much lah. Maybe after this won't put any more into PRS.

RM8/year? So it isn't entirely free with them, that was the catch, RM8/year for each PRS account with them?
*
If you invest RM1000 with them, that's 0.8% p.a.

If you have RM100,000, it diminishes down to 0.008%, not bad.

Just registered via PPA, topped up RM1k exactly at registration. Now waiting for account to be processed. How many days does it take?

I shall be eligible for the additional RM1k as well right? I need not to contribute RM1.1k right in case of fees etc.

Took 1 week for me.

Is it normal for the fund to request for your bank statement, utilities bill or mobile phone bill after registering with them ?

I didn't get asked for any of those. Which fund provider asked for those?

Keep. No need to sell. You sell you kena penalty of 8%. Overtime,  it will be worth something. Of course along the way if something better come,  can transfer to that say stashaway if they become a PRS provider.
*
If the tax relief ends in 2021, won’t bother with PRS ady.

Ya me too, just leave whatever you have put in there. What makes you guys think StashAway will become PRS provider?

It would be awesome if they did!
*
They are one of the SRS scheme providers in Singapore. PRS copy SRS so why not.

You do know that unit trust NAV is delayed by 1-2 days right?
Also NAV can as mentioned can be manipulated by fund manager to make it drop like giving dividend or do a unit split.

So what you see low maybe few days ago price... Buying low have it's own risk too. Low can go lower.

You can check out FSM page of the fund you are interested in,  they will list  down the NAV price for past 3 months.
*
I don’t believe in timing the market also. Just buy and it will still go up in long run.

This is how you can fetch PRS current NAV from Bloomber in your Google Sheets, it works on PRS funds that have a Bloomberg ticker.

Assuming your fund provider is CIMB, and you invest in CIMB-Principal PRS Plus Asia Pacific Ex Japan Equity class C like me:

1. Find the bloomberg ticker for the fund. In my example, can just google "<fund name> fact sheet". In CIMB AAXJ, the Bloomberg ticker is "CPAEJEC:MK"
2. In Google Sheet, type this in formula bar, replace the ticker with your own.
CODE
=ImportXML("https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/CPAEJEC:MK", "//*[@class='priceText__1853e8a5']")

Yahoo Finance not friendly for scraping dy, hope won't Bloomberg uturn do the same.
