QUOTE(cempedaklife @ Jan 20 2021, 05:20 PM) Most of the PRS provider will get fund NAV for previous trading day publish by late evening of today especially those with foreign market exposure. For local funds, if you cannot wait, you can get the today's trading day NAV after 8pm of the day at the respective PRS provider portal. QUOTE(cklimm @ Jan 20 2021, 09:22 PM) jokes aside, with the arrival of RM40 cashback, combined with tax relief and appreciation, YTD simple ROI is 59.1% excluding tax relief and goodies.my Manureit is now making 8.3% of profit (RM120+40+90). You guys who bought Principal should have done better. This post has been edited by GrumpyNooby: Jan 20 2021, 09:24 PM cklimm liked this post

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Jan 21 2021, 07:54 PM) Hi, anyone know how to transfer fund out from 1 fund house to another? Plan to My current manulife prs account a and b to under fsm.. FSM is not a fund house; they're a middleperson like eunittrust and FSM doesn't have PRS fund under their own management. This post has been edited by GrumpyNooby: Jan 21 2021, 07:57 PM |

QUOTE(DJFoo000 @ Jan 22 2021, 10:33 AM) I'm actually a bit confused on the "PPA Account opening fee" and "PPA annual fee". PPA is administrator, PRS provider (aka fund houses) is offering PRS products like Principal, Affin Hwang Asset Management etc and FSM (aka agent/middle man) is selling PRS products on behalf of PRS provider (eunittrust also has the same role).Does this "PPA Account" refer to the overall PPA account that is accessible through ppa.org.my (which will be opened the first time I buy a PRS through FSM, and relinked to ppa.org.my after first time buying PRS)? Or is this "PPA Account" the individual account I "open" with the individual PRS Providers? I'm confused because if the "PPA Account" is the overall PPA Account that is accessible through ppa.org.my, then the PPA annual fee would be applicable every year anyway if I were to put in 3k in a PRS even if it's from a provider I have yet to buy a PRS fund from, because I'm paying this annual fee to PPA, and not to the PRS Provider? Also, to summarise my understanding on the different ways of buying PRS: 1) Buy from ppa.org.my - can only choose one fund, and invest into that one fund till die 2) Buy from PRS provider directly - can only buy funds provided by the PRS Provider 3) Buy from fundsupermart - can buy funds from multiple PRS providers, but not all All three would be linked by a common PPA Account number, of which the overall PRS holdings can be checked from ppa.org.my. Correct me if my understanding is wrong. I am an existing user of FSM, and hold multiple MFs in FSM, hence my preference would be to do everything through FSM anyway, unless a more efficient way of doing things exists. You need a PPA account as it serves like an avenue to show all your holdings and PPA charges RM 8 annual fee if there's any contribution to existing PRS products. Opening PPA account should incur fee of RM 8 (first year) and RM 10 stamp duty. Both can be waivable. ironman16 liked this post

QUOTE(ironman16 @ Jan 24 2021, 08:26 AM) Still flip2, i think mostly. AIA PRS is like a closed ended environment and you're tied to the insurance provider. I did come acros AIA prs in my head but why seldom ppl talk about it? 🤔🤔🤔. Kenaga prs not bad now, last time feed to kenanga growth fund 😑 but last year i flip, no more feed to kenanga growth, may b the mandate change.😁😁👍👍👍 The agent may upsell you with other products.
