Master xuzen

Just to confirm with you, the best PRS growth fund is still CIMB-Principal PRS Plus Asia Pacific Ex-Japan Equity - Class C, right?  thumbup.gif

And, as of now, there is still no other PRS growth fund which is better than this CIMB PRS fund, correct?

Thank again for your confirmation. Next month, I will invest RM 3000 in this CIMB PRS fund, as you highly recommended.  notworthy.gif

Yes, you are correct.

A1: Tax relief is not based on the year of your purchase. It comes from the government budget.
The relief is going to expire in 2021. Whether it'll be extended depends on who'll be the PM or Finance Minister in 2020.

A2: Everybody has different taste/risk/requirement. It's an open ended question.

I feel stupid

First, there din't allowed you to swap it.
Furthermore if you swap it then you really stupid. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

3% sales charge is one off payment when you top up, but you get the total investment amount -0.1% management fees every year(Class A = 1.4% while Class C = 1.5%).

Don't underestimate this 0.1% as it link to total invesment value for every year, after 30 years you will end up receive similar return. I just do some excel spreadsheet and simulate few situation(Eg, only invest till 2021, Top up for 30years etc) but end up after 30 years the return will almost the same.

I just saw this post today & FYI I already invested CIMB-Principal PRS Plus Asia Pacific Ex Japan Equity - Class A since 5 years ago but first two year only 75% to Asia Pacific Ex Japan Equity, the total invested value is RM15,500(5years x RM3000 + RM500 youth incentive) and now it worth around RM22k.

As I said I just notice this post today, previously open PRS account thru CIMB bank & now top up thru cimb click.

Anyhow after go thru the post, I believe the best deal now is buy thru Fundsupermart with 0% sales charge.

Yes, not necessary to change.
But can consider future top up thru FSM with 0% sale charges.

I placed my order and paid for my CIMB PRS fund on 30/10. On the same day, I went to the FSM office to submit the first time PPA and PRS registration to them.

Then on today, my purchase has been confirmed, but why does the NAV I get is based on 31st, and not on 30th which is the day I paid for my order?

I got less RM13 due to the NAV difference(I know this is little considering how much I have wasted over the months, but I just want to verify which NAV I am entitled to.)

Hi,

I want to ask you, because i'm confused with the step of first time PRS registration with FSM. I saw these 2 link

https://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/resea...f-Purchase-2966

and

https://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/prs/prsForms.tpl

i should buy PRS first > submit form > make payment or

submit form > buy prs > make payment ?

btw, you went to the FSM office for submitting form during weekdays or weekend?

notworthy.gif hope you can answer, thank you

Either way works, but you are able to lock in your NAV on the same day if you place the order and make the payment first, while waiting for your PPA account to be created.

i went on a weekday. Took about 10 minutes to fill in the forms and they will do the rest.
