I didn't see Buy New Fund in my existing PPA account.
I only see Top Up only.

yeah seems like cant choose a new fund thru PPA (only top up to existing funds) so may still need to go through the bank/FSM to buy new funds for first time then can top-up subsequent years.

Noted that the past 2 years, even Public Bank PRS which was bad the initial years are doing better.

Most probably Affin Hwang Growth, one of the three PRS fund in FSM recommended funds 2020/2021
*
If we top up directly via PPA, is there still a fee to be paid to Affin Hwang?

PPA charges 50 cent for administrative fee.
Other than that, it is not stated if there's any sales fee incurred.
*
So am I correct to say that for the first time buying a particular fund, we have to go thru either FSM or the bank to purchase it and then pay a sales fee if any. And for subsequent years top-up via PPA online, we only pay a fee to PPA and nothing to the fund/bank? Thanks.

Affin PRS Growth Fund is feeding mainly into Affin Hwang Select Asia (ex Japan) Opportunity Fund MYR
Affin PRS Moderate Fund is feeding mainly into Affin Hwang Select Asia Pacific (ex Japan) Balanced Fund MYR

Given recent stealth performance of both funds capturing upside opportunity in Greater China region, no doubt that both PRS funds are gaining too.

Thanks for this info. I have both so was wondering if I should top up instead of finding a new fund.

Would you kindly recommend another better performing fund pls?

Am REITs IRR 5.74% ROI 0.7% just enter a few month, still dca

Overall prs portfolio is IRR 4.68% ROI 11.25%

For AmReit I have to go to Ambank personally to buy the first time right? With Covid-19 and many working from home, will REITs produce similar results in the next few years? Whats your thoughts?

Enjoyed all the readings in the last few posts. Thanks for the info, very eye opening indeed for someone who is in it purely for the tax benefit. Im at a stage where less complication with my portfolio is better. Haha. Love this thread, very mature and informative.

Hey guys, I have a general question... I have been investing PRS thru FSM and I opted for the Growth Fund from Kenanga & CIMB.

My question is as my age reaches 40 & 50, will the fundhouse convert my growth fund to a more conservative fund automatically?

Or do I need to make the manual buying and selling thru FSM?
*
I dont think its automatic. The funds are just recommendations based on age. So you will need to convert it yourself.
