hi just bought DV6-6114tx..why msi afterburner say my gpu is ati radeon 6700m...should be 6770m rite?

No idea whether it will EOL next month or not. IMO, the end is near coz i've used this laptop for half year already.

U need to check this thread regarding the new price of 6001TX.

Lol, new macbooks are using HD6770M as well....Not sure what kind of games they can run on a Mac though

quite alot i think.. and they can play windows game thru bootcamp too.

Set on BIOS to Fixed.
Then on desktop, right click, configure switchable graphic, click high performance ?

i download splash lite hd movie player...and the movies run smooth when i connect hdmi to philips 32 lcd full hd...
everything works fine...

only when i used kmplayer, vlc player,media player classic cinema...then problem arise again for 1080p bluray movie...

what is the [dxva] how to check got or not when playing?? where to look?

When you start to play the movie, it should have the status bar at the bottom..

gt. btw sifu lee, a few pages back, i had encounter 2 times bsod, i had already bluescreenview and posted it.

#1 BSOD, try run chkdsk C: /f
#2 BSOD, well its related with ATi, so maybe try use other driver version..

whats the difference in quality between watching 1080p with a HD screen and 1080p with a FHD screen?

Depends the screen itself?
FHD screen is uncommon and supposedly have better quality compared to the average HD screen + 1-to-1 pixel mapping, no downscaling when watching 1080p movies...
