LMFAO, Acid, thanks, i'll keep my temps in check. But reall, 840/1040 STABLE? On which driver?

Gonna try out leshcat's independent driver. Changelog looks good. Both Intel and AMD drivers are more updated than HP site.

EDIT: Surprisingly the file size is only half of the HP driver O_O

Yeah, it is def. better than HP, HP is out of date because signature for drivers takes really long time.

DNA 11.8.3. Not on all games tho, stable in Shift 2, Tropico 4, Warhammer & Supreme Commander 2.

If you really free and love reinstalling the driver, do try HP 8.830 + AMD 11.5B.


Your mileage may vary.

HP driver include both 32bit and 64bit files while leshcat only for 64bit.

Only the Extreme can overclock.
Disable Turbo Boost, lost 0.8GHz for less heat..

* Minimum processor state
* System cooling policy
* Maximum processor state...

so both min. and max. is set to 100% in "Plugged in" mode...
so, should i set both to 99% to disable turboboost?

Oh, ok. Acid, can u help me out? I don't know what i am doing wrong, installed DNA, increased voltage to 1.059 V, tried 840/1040 - i get stuck all the time IS there anything i might be doing wrong?
Hell, now i tried with normal 800/1000 - still gettin stuck! Maybe trix is not compatible with Furmark? What software can i sue to measure the performance or score?

In plug in mode,

min put 5%
max put 99%

save and choose the power plan .
then turbo boost is turned off.

No one reported any problem yet.. so i don't know. Only few guys have bought it i think.


What u mean by stuck? Try 1.055v and open OpenHardwareMonitor.

i also wondering why the Minimum will set to 99% also... let me set to 5%... hehe
btw, anyone playing NFS RUN also? y keep on "connecting to autolog server" .. can i disable it? ^^

Everyone experiences window booting lag like black screen about 5secs+ before getting into window? After shrinking my disk partition into 2. :S

i played nfs the run . its like that de keep connect autolog. ntg much u can do unless u download some special "copy" of the run. The game is very nice.

At Trixx setting there got Disable ULPS. Is it ticked? I usually use 3DMarkVantage/3DMark11.
Btw, slow down man.. u might get a placebo effect and you didn't notice it.


I can't disable it in Shift 2 also.
