i dun think its driver related.....more towards the clock rates and the setting of the gpu itself.as the problem mostly occur after overclocking.but here it happens jz under stock clock

You can try install MSI Afterburner and set your own 2D and 3D clock profile or disable PowerPlay.

whats your current setting under afterburner?

I use 400/400 for 2D and 726/801 for 3D. The memory won't go below 800 actually.. bug i guess but i still set it 400/400.

You shouldn't because MSE is pretty adequate and light weight.
Where does it slows? Gaming? Normal usage? Boot up?
Me too.  doh.gif

MSE is Microsoft Security Essentials? Huh... just use this enough as the main antivirus?

I dunno whether it's my pre=prejudice against Microsoft but isn't their given security kinda weak? Enough to stand on it's own?

Regarding Norton, yea I will uninstall it anyway after it expires

No, unless u sent the laptop to change mobo and HP accidently use 6100 series mobo on yours 6000 series.

I'm kinda skeptical at first too but since many guys suggested MSE i tried it. I feel like Norton slowing down overall system response. Might be placebo tho..
Among paid AV i prefer Eset Smart Security. Others tend to bloat your system.

I don't really game anymore. No time sweat.gif
It's normal usage, like surfing the web also Google crashes.
Booting up also quite slow sad.gif
I really have no idea why. Before I come to Uk it was fine.
And I more thing, when I close my laptop, not shut down fyi.
I close the screen, and when I turn it back on the HP wireless crashes, and CCC crashes too.
It never happened before. I don't know why for the past 1 month it did.
I don't know but I think my laptop is capable of supporting up to 10 tabs or more on Google Chrome right ?
Now about 5-7 also start to lag already, then becomes unresponsive, then crashes. sleep.gif
Sigh, any idea ? icon_question.gif

@joonwei23
When u said Chrome crashed, do u mean it crash entirely or just the tab crashed "He's dead Jim"?

Check your CPU usage, any unknown program using it?
