i am owner of a 6001 sg - the laptop was some kind of broken and was sent in for nearly 2 month ... but thats an other story...

today i got my copy of skyrim but it seems as the game uses the intel graphic and not the radeon - is there any way to disable the usage of the intel chip?

ccc is already on high performance but that does not help
i also have installed cpu-z which only shows the intel chip...

2 month are a long time... but i think there was some kind of switch for the graphics ... it were only 3 or 2 klicks and you could change the card... but i dont remember

if anyone could help me - this would be great

for more information - im using win 7 - bios f.1a and the latest ATI driver

Right click the desktop, no 'configure switchable graphic', then click high performance ?

there i have a high performance... but the game only detects intel hd - everything is lagging even at low quality

Did you removed the old ATi driver when you install the latest one ?

just now i play the run and the amd driver not responding, can someone help me please

Are you using the stock AMD driver ?

yep - also the autodetect of the game only sees mobile intel® HD graphics and detects not even average quality

Open Catalyst Control Center, Information, Software,
what do you have for the Catalyst Version?

Please uninstall your current ATi driver.
Install the stock driver from HP first, then straight install the latest AMD. Don't remove the old one.

update it to 8.830.6.3000..

screen resolution==>advanced setting==>properties==>driver==>update driver

"Driver stopped responding" problem? All around the world.

erm...tried play again not with updated driver, at the same place(the bridge from SF to LV) then sudden the game play stuck

hmm.. try install DNA 11.8.3 since i don't have problem with it.

this guy from Guru3D having problem crossing bridge too but with 11.11.

He's on HD6950 tho.
