Today, went to Lelong office to submit my BPP Forms at 10:30am and by 10:35am, claim was recorded, given a Claim Number and second set of BPP Forms signed "RECEIVED". Very fast and efficient Lelong Staff. No question asked.

Information gathered:Till the end of September, QiLing was still in contact with Lelong by phone and e-mail but did not submit police report on the theft of his stocks. Submitted only the list of refund to buyers (I think refunded buyers are probably QiLing price-jacker-this is my personal opinion).
*
luckily that's your personal opinion, and i really hope that your personal opinion will not affect how the others think..
as, qiling as refunded me rm100.

I'm thinking, we should ensure Lelong.my that we WILL keep quiet IF they FULL refund us.That could boost their management morale more I think.
*
But how do we make sure of tat? Maybe after 1 month, everything gets quiet, and we still cant sure whether we can get full refund or not... Sigh... Dilemma...

This site has done great and helped all of us. Credit goes to IOSTREAM & TEAM. rclxms.gif
We are facing this problem because of technology advancement in e-commerce & we are also able to
respond quickly because of technology. Otherwise we would not know that this was a nationwide conjob involving a large sum of money.
BUT WE ARE NOT OUT OF THE WOODS YET!!! NOT UNTIL ALL GENUINE BUYERS ARE REFUNDED!
Unfortunately BPP has limitations and some of us WILL NOT get full refunds. All insurance have limits and BPP had stated it in their
conditions.

Efforts must continue to get more victims to make police reports and updates on BPP claims.

As long as LELONG fulfil its BPP obligations, they should not be faulted. This episode will make LELONG be more careful in
giving BPP certification.

OUR OBJECTIVES SHOULD BE:
- ENSURE LELONG START REFUNDING BPP CLAIMS (MAXIMUM TIME 45 DAYS FROM SUBMISSION OF CLAIMS)
- OUTLINE THE NEXT PLAN OF ACTION IF LELONG REJECTS BPP CLAIMS.
- ASSIST AUTHORITIES IN NABBING THE CONMAN
- MAKE MALAYSIA A SAFER PLACE TO BUY/SELL ONLINE

You all sounds like very happy and got the money back.
Oh wait, no one got anything back yet.

Lelong has not refunded yet,
the conman is still at large.

Don't angry with me for stating the fact..
*
Ya! Indeed, bro! nod.gif
i think most of us overlooked this line of BPP terms:

QUOTE
Lelong reserves the right to make a final decision at our sole discretion on any claim and make changes to this policy from time to time as it deems fit.

Lelong has promised to refund us, but none of us had successfully claimed tat refund, not to mention getting a single cent...

In short, we dun even know how much we can get bek, not even close to knowing that...

And, please dun be over optimistic, lelong is still working at a very slow pace!

Guys,
i contacted Lelong yesterday asking for the progress,
Their staff already on a meeting about the case.

From what i understood, they gathering all the claim form from us and calculated the amount.
They also trying to reach Qiling to settle this case smoothly.

Lelong only the man-in-the middle for us to trade online. They only offers their service.
But dont u think that its a glad that Lelong also willing to bear the lost due to the d*** seller?
For sure they also have their policy.
The one that we should AIM is Qiling. He spoilted the service offered by Lelong.
Qiling is the one that should REFUND us.
This is my opinion. You may have you own opinion.
I will update if i have any information from Lelong.
----------------------
Friendly message:
Dont ever think about refund,BPP..
if you are not lodging a police report yet.
*
i agree with you bro.
but, i'm still unhappy with the inefficiency of lelong.
i think lelong should provide more assistance to us, correct me if i'm wrong...

Frankly speaking, initially i thought that if there are a lot of police reports (68, till now) lodged by the victims (us), we would have created enough stress for the police to let them act faster. However, i dun think we have received any good news... yet... sad.gif

Item URL: http://www.lelong.com.my/brand-motorola-dr...11-08-Std-P.htm

Total Amount Paid: RM822.00

*this is my 2nd time being cheated thru online trading, b4 this i was cheated rm500 by venkateswara ram (aka ikmal rahimi)
& hasmawaty duo thru mudah.my......already make police report last time but have to drop case becoz no enough evidence.....really disappointed

but now i again being cheated, but it really surprise me when it happen thru lelong.com.my, don't know whether to report or not becoz of the previous experience is not going very well.....damn
*
i think it's better to make a report since so many of us had already made one. and you gona need a police report to claim thru lelong's BPP. in short, if you lodge a police report does not guarantee you to get bek something, but if you dun lodge one, for sure, you are getting bek nothing .

yea.u should go to SKMM indeed.me also actually been con on mudah at early age of their opening. i just straight away go to make a police report.wht the officer say?(this one maybe depend on officer that handle or take your case)nothing much can do with this case and he also will forward this to SKMM officer to settle it down.i just simply let it off after that.but what a surprised, after half year, one of SKMM officer called me up and tell me that they already got enuff proof to get this conman.then she ask me come to her office.she explain me regarding that cases status and only 2 option were given to the con man.they will prepare court letter to the conman to make full refund  or give the promised item as per advertisement.fail to do so will bring him to the court.

so please don't give up on your case and proceed with some progress or movement even it will takes time.trust me it really worth when see this case solve. thumbup.gif
*
Maybe a walk-in complaint to SKMM worth a lot more. i sent them an email previously, it's a complaint against lelong's inefficiency and irresponsibility. This was the email:

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

And this was their reply:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

In short, i believe my complaint has gone into vain, but, only time will tell...

hi all, ive read the first page, but no explanation given about what exactly the conmen had done. is it about customers not getting the products they paid for? or there are also other issues??

edit: i hoped i have not missed it anywhere..
*
yaya, there are no details in the first page actually...
in short, the conman told the victims that his goods worth of 50k had been stolen, and he is now unable to deliver to the victims. he promised to refund to the victims, however, he had gone missing afterwards. in addition to that, he failed to provide any proof to support that claim and we discovered that he had been using some fake identities for lelong's transactions, and his brother had involved in a con case before.
