I got this from reading other forums. Apparently in the original anime, no one mentioned that Zeta has the biosensor thingy. It was only added in after the series ended. The biosensor somehow reads the pilot's brainwaves and hence it affects the mecha by unknown methods.

By the way, biosensor, biocomputer, psychommu, psychoframe all refer to similar stuff that plays around with new type brain waves.... Details are not necessary as I believe they are simply different terminologies for the same thing. Except that psychoframe is a psychommu built into the metal frame of the mecha.

A possible explanation is that the minds of the deceased (together with Kamille's) got aggregated and amplified by the biosensor, and by unknown methods it formed a barrier around the Zeta Gundam and made it's beam sabre extend longer than usual. The part about The-O is also unexplained, but other forums state that it might be due to the overwhelming of The-O's biosensor by the Zeta's newtype ghost power.

Conclusion, it's up to your interpretation... There's no official explanation about it.

The difference? No one knows, even gundamofficial's definition is quite ambiguous. The biocomputer can detect life force as shown when Seabook felt the presence of Cecily; but it probably amplifies the brainwaves to control the F91 too like when Seabook fought Rafflesia with the afterimages.

Psychommu is a CPU+software which allows control of mecha/funnels via the mind.
Psychoframe is a metal frame with psychommu computer chips embedded into it (Belthorchika's children explained this)... The HiNu and Nightingale had chips imbedded into the frame surrounding the cockpit, while Unicorn has the entire frame with chips. Something like that.

Again... they are probably the same thing with different names.
By the way, Victory doesn't have all these psycho bling bling apart from Angel Halo.

Gundam was never that realistic with the Jedi-like Newtype powers, but it was realistic in the sense that the mechas need maintenance, ammo, energy, and of course they actually break down

Votoms... I've only watched the OVA movie called Last Red Shoulder... Quite boring though, but I don't think it's justified to comment on the entire Votoms series based on a 50 minute OVA. The battle scenes in that movie is nothing spectacular anyway, just the usual machine gun fire + missile spamming with roller wheel action (think Leopard Gundam).

About Stargazer, well there are a lot of possibilities... Sven being an extended, Selena being a coordinator, wrong estimation of the oxygen content, or even Stargazer's AI doing miracles. Their survival is much more palatable than that of Mwu, Andy, and of course Kira.

Now that Ephuty is a bastardization of this refined Epyon...

Prominently or not, I'm not sure since I've never really followed the Astray series. I've read one short comic (from Gundam Ace I think) which introduced the nickname of Shiho.. something Balsam if I remember correctly. It never mentioned any romantic involvement between Yzak and Shiho although Shiho seemed quite respectful and showed glimpses of admiration for her commander. Then again, not sure whether that's canon or not.

Anyway, Kshatriya's armaments include funnels (24 of them... crazy !!) and mega particle cannons all over the torso and shields. Zeon's spamming machine I reckon. Note that there's only one unit of Kshatriya and no spare parts are available according to the description in the pics. It won't be a cannon fodder, synopsis of the latest chapter said that Unicorn had to activate NT mode to chase Kshatriya away so it won't be a pushover.

It's ZZ's Nahal Argama not the Zeta Argama, I wonder why they didn't use Ra Cailum class battleships instead.

Most likely not since 00 is supposed to be a "brand new" series while CE is well known as a tribute to the old UC. I'd say a failed parody more than a tribute... GSD totally ruined the name of Zeta.

About the HCM Pro Excia... YUCKS... anorexia... And what's the purpose of having beam daggers? Might as well give them beam swords. Speaking of which, the concept of 7 blades on the Excia is indeed a foolish one. It only has 2 hands hence it will only be able to wield 2 blades at once. Backup weapons? Might as well give the Excia a beam rifle instead. I have no confidence in pure melee units since they are a goofy concept which only makes sense in fictional anime. This is why Epyon looks good at first, but think about it the idea is daft... Lock and beam-spammu it and it will have no chance of retaliation. Unless it's in GW where the Epyon moves at c... Back to the weapons. Shield-sword concept looks cool, but again it's not a practical design. Remember Trikeros? When you block, you can't shoot/attack/slash.

The only way to have a good melee design is Aegis' quad sabres, or to a lesser extent the IJ. With built-in blades in the feet and wrists, the palms are free to control other weapons. Even if it holds a shield for defence there's still 3 protruding beams. Bah... Aegis is the most underappreciated and underused MS in CE. And it's the most sophisticated and unique design.

Meh... I'll take the normal beam rifle + shield + sabres anytime. Unicorn showed that typical designs can look cool.And who can argue with MKII's simple and elegant design? Shell firing bazookas FTW too !!

Indeed... Saviour and Aegis look very different. But the similarities can be seen, such as the chest vents. As for the horn on Athrun's 4 MSes, I actually like it... It's unique and resembles Athrun's customised symbol.

I love both GINN's and CGUE's designs. CGUE = shield gatling = instant win. GUAIZ looks way too chunky and too bad for them they never got ample screen time anyway. They were simply useless grunts which got killed by beam spammu all the time, with the exception of Rau's silver GUAIZ.

DINN on the other hand looks crap.

GSD's designs are absolutely horrendous. Babi.... LOL Yet another useless grunt like the Windam. The Euclid and Exass are attractive MA designs (underused again) while the Zamzazar and GellsGhe are crap. Serious crap.

The best moment of a GINN... pwning everyone in Stargazer ep1.

Can't tell much about 00 now. There's no news about any enemy suits anyway. No grunt suits, MA, civilian units whatsoever.

Masked men? I don't mind at all since it's a gundam tradition, but don't make him into a wimp like Neo Lornoke. Char, Zechs, Rau, even the maniacal Karozzo were great protagonists.

The screen shots show that the animation quality will be brilliant, but the characters look absolutely girlish even for the guys. In addition, we finally see grunt suits which look similar to mechwarriors. I actually prefer them more than the ugly 00 Sentai suits.

If 00 follows GW's style, I'd still be able to accept it since GW still provided several great battles and bullshit talk. As long as it's not GSD then I'll probably watch it.

An organisation aiming to make war in attempt to stop all wars... Think Milliardo Peacecraft.

From the interview, it seems that it WILL be another 1 vs 50. The director mentioned that it will be focusing on super robots vs normal technology. Think Leo vs Gundam. GINN vs Gundam.
